Looks like Volks has released the outfit for Snow Miku 2018.

Ooh you beat me, I was gonna make a thread for Miku outfits cos apparently Volks are also unveiling a dress based on a Peachpit illustration of Miku next week, but maybe that should have its own thread too?

Anyway I'm surprised they unveiled it so fast! I was expecting new outfits but I thought they wouldn't show them until closer to Sapporo snowfest. I take it this one comes with a wig? Those white twintails..

 

I'm actually not as interested in this SnowMiku as I was TwinkleSnow design-wise but the outfit looks so striking.

Based on pictures of the figma, it appears the twintails are white at the top, and blue at the ends.

 

So far, I'm liking Volks' version for last year better; this one looks bulky based on that teaser pic and the last design was more appealing to me I think.

Official Volks DD Miku outfit(s), I'm in! I might have to break down and just buy a DD Snow Miku as my Miku might never get to wear all the outfits.

Hmm, miss for me, not a big fan of this version personally (I'm all about the 2014 design). I do wonder how many layers it'll have and how detailed it'll be, as well as the cost. Oh, and will it come with the jingle stick??

Well, the 2017 one came with the wand, so maybe? But a set with a wig, props and possibly another Yukine is gonna be mighty pricey.

The price will probably be the only thing I'm gonna be on the fence about. If this outfit comes with a wig and accessories it will likely cost more than 16000¥. Since I live in Europe I would also have to pay taxes so the overall price would be like 220€

Besides that I'm really looking forward to seeing the full outfit revealed! I really enjoy the concept of this Snow Miku

Don't buy on ebay, at least not without comparing prices to other usually better sources. Mandarake has Ribbon Girl unopened for 400,000 yen, about $361 at current exchange rate. Expensive, but much better than $500.

Mandarake, and Jungle aren't bad for dolls, but Mandarake tends to be pricier than Yahoo Japan. They do let you search in English, and it can be easier to find outfits on Mandarake because of that. It is more of a used goods store so always look at the photos & descriptions carefully.

Ooops. I've gotten used to seeing prices like the Saber Lily that went up a day or two ago at 250,000 yen and got used to having that extra zero in prices.

Oh man, I have a very traditional snow/ice based yokai who this would be perfect for. I'm assuming like all the other Snow Mikus released in the past, you can't buy just the outfit though. I'd do a split with someone in a heartbeat.

AFAIK there's been only one Snow Miku doll and the other outfits have been released alone. Fluffy Coat set and Twinkle Snow were definitely separate outfits and I'd expect this to be.

It is an outfit on its own, like every other snow Miku outfit besides the original one (the one that's just a recolour of her regular outfit) - although there's only been three alternate outfits including this one so far (Fluffy Coat and Twinkle Snow) But they're rereleasing the actual Snow Miku doll again, they seem to do it every February now.

What I want to know is if they plan to release the previous years Snow Miku outfits, the four ones between Fluffy Coat and Twinkle Snow. The magical girl Snow Miku is really cute.

I have both Miku's and Snow Milu is pretty cool. The light blue in her faceup works really well.
