I found this place by chance, I was doing a google search for Dollfie dream forums and this came up. Checked it out and decided to join. I found out about dollfie dream a few years ago when I was told about the Snow Miku that was up for pre order. I'm a huge fan and collector of Hatsune Miku statue and figures. I have all the Snow Miku Figma's. Unfortunately I couldn't get her at that time. Forward to last week and I found her on Mandarake, said she was open, contents sealed, box damaged. Well, I got her in the mail yesterday. She was new, and there was no damage to the box that I could see. I also picked up her Senbonzakura Dress Set when I bought her, that should be here today or Friday, can't wait. I then bought her some jeans, more panties, a white shirt and a light blue hoodie from Volks webstore last week. Deciding she needed some other shoes I ordered some shoes and a stool for her too sit on, those are in customs right now so should have them by Saturday at the latest.

As soon as I have permission to post pictures I'll post a picture of her.

 

I think I fell in the rabbit hole here. I'm now contemplating getting Smart Doll Ebony and Harmony when she comes out next month. I will get Harmony, thinking pretty hard about Ebony though. I also really want the Dollfie Dream Sister Sailor Moon.

Thanks, yes I do plan on attending ohayocon on Sunday. I didn't think to take Miku with me though. Do a lot of people do that?

There are people who take their girls with them. Some take one some take all lol. The doll hobby itself has gotten bigger but I don't see a majority of people carrying theirs with them but there is usually a gathering at the covention over the years. I try to bring mine as often as I can. I think I'll be bringing one of my girls this year as well but I need to chose who I'll be bringing XD

I did decide to get Smart Doll Ebony, got her from NakitaN from Flickr, should have her next week, pretty excited. Going to customize her, turn her into a red head with blue or purple eyes. Her name will be Kiani.

So I'm thinking of getting Miku a bigger bust. What does everyone think of Miku with a medium bust? Or just maybe a small? I think large would be to big though.

It depends on the clothes. IMX a lot of the Volks sets are sized for S/M. However, I think the Miku sets run smaller since she's an SS. So, it boils down to whether you want to use general sets or Miku specific sets.

Hmm, the sets I have I thought could go up to a medium. Plus the new snow Miku set that goes up for pre order I though said up to medium. I'll have to look into it, I do want some specific Miku cloths just not all.

I have a small bust on my custom Miku which in my opinion is a better match for most art of the character than the SS one. I think medium would be ok too. Large doesn't really fit with her but I'm ok with using it for an outfit that needs it.

 

A number of the Miku-specific outfits are only for SS and S busts; last year's Snow Miku Twinkle Snow, the Siren dress and the 7th Dragon 2020 outfits for example.

Thanks for the reply, thinking I'll get a s and a m bust for her. Now if Volks USA will restock the medium bust soon. There's no way I'm paying what they want on eBay.
