Rin’s First Snow Day

I was going outside to shovel the driveway when I thought I should bring Rin too. She’s never experienced snow so we started off by catching some snowflakes so she could get a feel for it.

Rin felt ready for more so I plopped her in the snow. She didn’t like how deep it was.

I thought we should get some shoveling done. Rin proudly announced she could do it herself:

It wasn’t too long until Rin got bored watching me shovel and went inside to dry off.

I think it went pretty well. :p

She looks super cute! I think I like the snow angel one best.

Heh, she left a cute lil imprint. We were going to make snow forts too but the neighbours started watching, also Rin doesn't have gloves so her hands would get wet and cold.

oooh man, this is like The Year for everyone to take their girls out into the snow!! *very much excited*

 

Rin did a good snow angel, perhaps next time she can work up to a small snow mouse or maybe even a snowman

@Chise: I was certainly inspired by everyone's snow pics, I had to try it out.

She's super proud of her snow angel, and that's a great idea. We'll try that out on our next snow day.

Rin is so cute in the snow ;-; unfortunately I won't get the chance to take mine into snow because I'm going back to Australia in summer so this is my last winter here, and Miku was the lucky one to come to Hokkaido. Unless I take her to Thredbo...

 

Anyway I can't stop grinning at the pic with the shovel. Rins are good girls (*´꒳`*)

Are you in Toronto area ? We had some snow in the last days here in Ottawa ....wish I had the energy to take one of my girl outside but I really loved your pictures of Rin . I hope she really likes snow as she lives in Canada now XD

@Torino That sounds exciting Australia sounds intense. You should shave some ice into a tub for them to play in. xD Rin with the shovel is my favourite picture. She’s so determined.

 

@RealSalica Yep, I’m down in the GTA. I miss it back up around Ottawa. Do you still get loads of snow up there? Rin lives for the snow. Edit: honestly my motivation is in the toilet. But I had to shovel the driveway so I took that opportunity. Otherwise, I’d probably still be thinking about snow pics instead of doing it. So I feel you, depression is a dirty slut.
