Pics from our last doll meet

Our last doll meet was supposed to be an anime themed one.... which means that everyone brings along some of their favorite anime eps and we all watch a few. But this time around, we BARELY watched anything at all due to people doing a ton of dollie sales and even some face up work.

 

But we still had a strong showing of dolls this time around so let's see who or what showed up!

 

Of course, our resident alien/space case Cocoa made an appearance. But this time she was wearing a new space suit/flight suit. I say flight suit because she was up on my ceiling fan trying to fly....

And she actually DID fly! Well, more like gracefully fell once I turned the fan on.

Our buddy Buff came down from Columbia and brought along some awesome guys.....

Including The Hulk. This guy was ENORMOUS! We put him on a scale and he hit 12 pounds! Holding him was like holding a small child because of the weight! Of course, anytime new man-meat shows up, Manami makes a claim on it. LOL

 

The Hulk is a Granado Titan resin guy. You can see just how big he is with Manami there in front of him. Buff did ALL of his painting.... he did NOT come green. She does such awesome work!

 

The tall girl to the right belonged to a friend from Charlotte and Buff brought her here to give back to him after doing some body blushing and a face up. I don't recall who makes her but as you can see, she's super tall.

Poor Hawkeye didn't get as much attention as Hulk.... he hung out with a LeStat lookalike.

Another Eiji showed up too, he's the newer V2. And he was chatting with a cute little anime styled resin girl.

Here's my FAVORITE girl of the meet! Keijogirl owns her and her name is Kiyo. She's an 05 head on a DDdy body. She normally has long blue hair but she was cosplaying Ryomou this time around and looked awesome.

This is Kanna, one of my newer girls. She's my only 09 head girl and I adore her. She's SWS on a DDdy body and wearing some Alice's Collections clothing.

Raven is a custom Excellen Browning painted by Freya. She is totally gorgeous in person! The MDD girl Machii was just adopted from my friend Patty. She's an 01 head on the original MDD body. She's going to have to get kipped and have some repairs to her ankles tho as her body is super loose and floppy. She will also be getting a new face up soon.

This is an 06 girl on the DDdy body. I forget her name but she belongs to a friend from Charlotte and just got new blue eyes installed at the meet. She's super pretty and cute!

On the left is one of Eblktty's sisters girls wearing a new outfit that she got at the meet. On the left is a Millihore Biscotti owned by AsianEd. She just arrived home to him a few days before so this was her first meetup! I really like her face, she's so cute!

I can't imagine what it's like to live somewhere where it's possible the hang out with that many other doll owners.

I'm glad to see a Granado Titan next to a DD. In the pile of 'things I want to do one day but will probably never have funds or space to' is a doll of Iskandar from Fate/Zero using a Titan as a base...and Waver as a DDSBoy. And yet the Titan -still- probably wouldn't be big enough lol.

She's got some power there if even girls are dying for that view. But I have to ask what socks/stockings does she have on? I love that they are lace trimmed on top, and that they nearly go all the way up.

Oh yeah, Riina can do some really crazy custom work when she wants to. Buff is also an amazing artist. How she had the patience to paint up Hulk with so much detail is beyond me.

I know right?? I had held a few of those beefy 70cm guys before and thought they were heavy. But this guy? It was nuts how big he was and how much he weighed! And yes, we usually have some pretty good meets down here. This time I think we had 9 or 10 people show up. We don't always get that many but we've also had more. It's really fun to live near people in this hobby, it definitely makes things easier when you need something doll related.

Heh, I dunno about power but Manami *does* have some very real appeal to her that makes her almost like dollie catnip to people and dolls alike. The real reason this photo happened is because the resin girl fell backwards from a sitting position and I saw a photo op just begging to happen. LOL

 

As for those stockings, they are pretty awesome. If memory serves me correctly, I want to say those are from Iplehouse and are supposed to be for their Model Doll series? That series is very close in size to DDdy girls and I've found several outfits and bits of lingerie that work well on Manami and her well endowed sisters. The stockings are stretchy too so that helps them fit nice and snug without falling or sliding down her legs.

Sorry I got those wrong. Are you sure about Nikki's little one? I thought she was one of the two MDD girls released in WS? Etheldreda was one of those and released at the same time as that other one since they're both from the same series.
