Volks News 77

Now that I actually look at the scans instead of incomplete page parts, looks like not only will DD15 be making her debut at Dolpa in March, but apparently there will be a special D'Coord selection at this Dolpa with at least one for each head mold! (Not sure if that included 12-14, it just says from 1-15. I hope they post those online closer to the date but they usually do for Dolpa D'Coords. I honestly might end up snapping up a DDP if there's one there next time I'm in Tokyo >< I wish they'd hurry up and make it standard, though - as well as the boy bodies, which still aren't even in D'Coord or dreamchoice.

 

Again it's a pretty disappointing issue for DD stuff but im really happy about the YoSD clothes and kinda glad that there's nothing making me want to make the trip to march Dolpa now that I want to go to May Dolpa anyway. More money to put aside for that...

There were a couple DD things I wouldn't mind getting, but having a time without much to want is good, lets the bank account build back up.

 

But I will admit with currently watching Fate/kaleid liner Prisma right now I saw Illya and said "Want!" so I have to figure out how to get a Volks figure.

Last time I was in Tokyo, like a couple of weeks ago, when I asked for DDP bodies or parts almost started laughing... I suppose the wait is still long, unfortunately. I really would like one, as well.

Cant wait for better pics of the ddh-15, she is cute. I hope this is all part of a future plan to have dream choice available internationally. Clothing all looks familiar, definitely some repeats in this batch.

Well, from my POV, there's nothing that makes me go OMG! OMG! OMG! Gotta Have It! I'm even second guessing if I really want to pre-order the Vampire Miku set. I guess the closest Volks 77 has to a true "squee" item for me is the polka dot dress, and I'm already waiting on that to arrive. Beyond that, the most exciting thing for me were the red mary janes. Well, and short sleeve blouses.

Ahhhh I need the 15! And another DDS boy body... As if needing to find 1 more for Lance wasn't gonna be enough of a pain.

I see a lot of people are disappointed, but for me I'm like "omg, finally a breather" in the clothing department. I might try for the shorts and plaid shirt set though. That would work great for my more tom-boyish girl. (who somehow has a rotation of plaid shirts, not sure how that happened!) XD

Ahh I love 15! Shes so cute. With such a cheeky expression she'd totally fit in with the rest of my dolls, too bad it seems she'll be hard to get.

I hope we'll get to see more pictures of 15 soon! I love that smile

Nooo Volks, I thought I was safe for a while!

According to the placards those suitcases are apparently out in 'Summer' - so not sure if they'll be out in next Volks news (april aka 'early summer issue') or the one after (june). I was surprised to see them advertise stuff well in advance like that, I dont know if they've done that before?

They look nice, but may be a little pricey. I like the fact that the girls apparently only pack one change of clothes, headphones and a whole load of Volks Newses.

Suitcases, that's awesome! Now my girls can pack an outfit or two when they travel instead of staying in the same outfit the whole time. But that also means I need to figure out how to stuff their bags in with the rest of the families' in the car on trips...

I love those suitcases!!!!! Why do I want one for a doll I don't even have yet!? I also love the ice skates, but it doesn't snow where I live so I feel like they'd be pointless to have because I'd never have a chance to take photos with them.

I'm the same. Just bought them through a proxy in Japan though, but it's more expensive I guess.

Volks USA is doing free shipping on Volks News 77, or at least the email said. But when I tried to buy it just now, it wanted to at $12 shipping!

I -think- that they probably can't and they have just hidden the stands in the sales pics, but if anyone has tried them and they can stand in them, that is amazing
