They don't say they fit DD, but they do. They are just slightly short on DD, and just slightly long on DDS, just very slightly so from perfect length for either size.

 

Yeah I have those as well, and the fit is fine to me. Put a pair of boots on and they're perfect.

Hah. So we have Volks clothing that fits DD fine while Volks doesn't list compatibility with anything but SDs, and then there's various SD clothes that they claim fit DD and really don't other than by a very loose definition of "fit."

 

 

The SD16 jeans, if they fit anything in DDs, would be DDdy, based on other Volks clothing and claimed compatibility.

Unless DDDy has really long legs the SD16 ones wouldn’t work.

I suspected that, but I've seen Volks claim SD16 pants to fit DDdy before, like that suit I mentioned in another thread.

 

Well for jeans you can have the bunched-up look as a fashion statement I guess, but that won't work for business attire.

 

Mainly it's the DDdy hip and waist sizes that I guess make some compatibility. I don't know all the dimensions but DDdy and DDIII legs are approximately the same length as the overall height is close and the shins are the same parts between both bodies.

 

I've been trying to find dimensions for various bodies. I found some on DoA but comparing to some charts on Dollheart's site some of the measurements don't match so I don't know what to believe.

Dollhearts fits are pretty solid in my experience. Their styles are quite eccentric, but pretty cool.

I might have to make a Volks Int order then. I also think you can't have too many jeans. Denim in general actually. I love pleated denim skirts, especially overall dresses. A pair of those in mini length style with thigh high socks and a cute top...

Jeans are an essential ingredient in a stylish casual outfit. I kind of want that Danny Cho jeans skirt now too.

 

His stuff is pretty cool and unique. Volks outfits often feel like the classic Japanese fashions from the 70s & 80s. Danny’s stuff feels very hip and modern. I really like the idea of stuff that fits DDS. All my iM@S girls are high maintenance, and almost all are DDS.

That's probably the original ones that came with the dolls. I think I read on the Smart Doll site somewhere that he changed them later because they were so hard to get on, or something, but I'm not sure anymore. So it's possible the current ones don't fit quite the same.

The length is a bit of an issue, but that should be easy for one of the forums tailors hem. I like the way they fit and look other than the leg length. What I had specifically read is that the cut-off jeans were what fit DDS perfectly. I was hoping the jeans would fit out of the box, but what I am seeing there doesn't look too hard to have customized.

So in other words I’m behind.

Half of them are some eBay seller brand because it's too hard to get any from Volks.

Yeah I ended up with several pairs of the Volks jeans just by snapping them up as they became available on the international store. I have a few pairs of jeans from Taobao, and I plan on getting some Danny Cho stuff soon, just not this month, I went big in the USA lottery because they had a ton of casual stuff sized for DDP.

 

Just need some DDP blue jeans now.

Wow the shoes I got are actually in stock. Guess I didn't need to rush for them, but is okay cause I was pretty excited to see I won them! Such nice heels~
