Ie-Aster Posted March 5, 2018 I wanted to take some Hina Matsuri shots on Saturday, but when I went to a shop where I'd seen miniature Hina dolls, I found that they looked far too cartoony (they were toys, not exact miniature versions) for the photos I wanted to take. But the shop actually had miniature wagashi (Japanese sweets), so my visit wasn't in vain. Odango for odango-hair girl. These aren't the best shots but I don't have the best setting to work with, unfortunately. I'm hoping to move to a new apartment in September, in which there will hopefully be less disintegration and more space for a doll-photography setup. I hope you all will enjoy these photos in the meantime! At home: Mei (DDP Lucy custom), Aku (DDB Takane custom) En route: L. (DD Matoi)
Monty Posted March 5, 2018 I think the soft light really compliments the soft colours of her outfit, and makes the dangling stand out. I really love her cardigan! *twitter*instagram*art*

Ie-Aster Posted March 10, 2018 Thank you both! I really love her cardigan! This outfit is really great! I want to take more photos with it, because I don't think these are really doing justice to it at all. But I've been in a bit of a photography slump lately no pokemon were out tryin to eat the sweets, eh? =P Eheh, I wanted to put Munna in these shots (its colors complement the outfit perfectly!) but there was so little space on the shelf where I had put Mei that I couldn't get a good interaction-pose, unfortunately.
