my own "Dolly Anniversary" 2002~2018

i started in this hobby back in 2002 with this short-lived set of 12in. TOYNAMI dolls from the 1992 AIC Anime series "Tenchi Muyo!"

which was being marketed in the U.S. heavily, in the early-2000's, as an "Everybody" gateway Anime

on CARTOON NETWORK's "TOONAMI" all-Anime weekday afternoon programming block.

 

at first, i had a desire to make the "Princess Ayeka" here a proper, full set of lingerie to replace the very cheap panties she came with,

and, from there, i was inspired to learn how to customize further, making her complete fashions, first from modified BARBIE fashions,

and, eventually, my own fashions from total scratch...

in 2010, i stepped up to the 27cm. OBITSU with my first OBITSU-based doll, the 2008 MegaHouse Mikuru Asahina "Maid ver."

 

 

my first customization for her was a new PALE skin OBITSU with SMALL bust to replace the LARGE (WAY too large!!!) bust body she came with.

 

i've made her many fashions and costumes over these last seven-odd years, some great, some... not so great.

my most recent, a return her maid roots, only in the way i would have preferred to have had her, straight out of the box;

tiny lil tip - the board width is fixed, so you'll need to either resize your images or add the sizing to IMG tag so it'll auto-resize to fit
