Tea colored Starlight? Or blank tea Sana?

So I’m considering getting a smart doll because Volks in their infinite wisdom make it so dang hard to get a tan skinned girl.

 

I’m leaning to the tea colored smart doll and the Starlight/Sana head mold. However the Sana facepaint is not for me, Starlight has the lashes and more neutral angle of the eyebrows. I sent them an email to see if they be able to supply a tea colored doll with the Starlight faceup. I’d assume it’s possible more so than Volks but highly unlikely if they make dolls via production runs.

 

Or, do they sell blank doll bodies? That would be my last resort because I’d have to do the faceup and ehhhhh I’m too ocd to ever like anything I do so... xD

 

If anyone has an idea or past experience let me know

You can buy Sana, wipe her face-up and send her to commission? I highly doubt they'll sell you a Tea-Starlight, but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. They only sell blank heads in the Mirai Store and usually in very small quantity, and they are often "damaged"

Yeah that’s plan b. I’m highly skeptical they’d even be able to accommodate one persons custom request. But, then again since they’re relatively small production if they wanted me to pay up front for one then whenever they do Starlight facepaints again they’d just throw in a blank tea colored head.

 

I just hate having to buy a head with a default paint then wipe it because someone had to take the time to do all those faceplate screens.

Or hope you can find someone in the area to go and pick a head up for you, from the physical store. But then they would have to time it... I do not know how often they have items in their outlet section.

Unfortunately I think your best bet is going to be getting a Sana and wiping the face-up. OR just waiting a while to see if he comes out with another tea-skinned Starlight sculpt with a face-up you like better, which is possible, as he has a lot of new dolls lined up. He just released prototype pictures of a cocoa-skinned Starlight sculpt, and she is gorgeous.
