Anyone know if these hands are generally available?

I'm afraid I can't remember the maker's username, but I'm fairly sure they have a Twitter, and I've seen their stuff RT'd before. They have also made jointed feet for DDs, which I saw on Y!JA (I think secondhand)--I suspect they probably mostly sell at Japanese doll events.

Sorry I don't have more helpful information but good luck in your search.

I believe those are from this shop http://gensoushop.cart.fc2.com/

But I think most of everything is actually out of stock and has been for a while. I'm pretty sure a majority of their items are sold at events as a vendor. They're really pretty, and they had a bunch of options for size, nails, and degree of finger articulation. But again, most of it isn't available currently.

Thanks for the info. Somehow I figured they wouldn't be generally available but at least I have a site to check on from time to time.

No problem They look really neat to me as well. I've kinda been wondering myself if there's any way to just grab a pair of jointed hands for resin dolls and somehow attach them to a DD since there are waaaay more of those available, but I don't know enough to even guess how you could do that or if it's even remotely possible.

I saw these at Dolpa39 and, after seeing all the cool stuff people were doing with them on the owner display tables, ended up buying a pair.

It was fortunate that I did, because against all expectations, I was able to get the doll for whom they were intended just a couple days later.

Some information for anyone who may be interested and/or get a chance to attend a doll event where they are being sold in the future: the material is some sort of hard plastic, whether ABS or resin, I don't know how to tell. The hands are strung with elastic and hold a pose well (IMO, but I'm also not used to stringing so make of that what you will). They slide into the frame with rods the same way as Volks made hands. I haven't tried using them to hold up anything heavy yet, but they can definitely hold lightweight accessories. With gloves on (this character pretty much always wears gloves) they look, in my opinion, very very natural.
