Ordering my first DD custom head

Good evening,

 

I'm sorry if this question has been posted before but I couldn't find any good answers on this forum via the search option ._.

 

Soooo I've been wanting to buy a DD head with a custom face up for a while now and so far I've only found like ~ four artists that I'd like to commission but they're not taking any orders atm. Maybe we can use this thread to collect some face up artists in the DD hobby who paint custom face ups?

I hope that I'm not alone with my "problem" and we can help each other

Freya_21 here on the forum does face up commissions.

Sometimes u gotta play the long waiting game... are those artists you like just on hiatus or are they taking future "when back to taking orders" wait lists?

Some of the users here who do faceup work have threads in the Painting and Customization section but I don't think those threads are always up to date. It's been my experience that if there's not a somewhat recent info stating they're closed or open that politely asking doesn't hurt; at least I've had success with that.

Sometimes it's just timing. I first considered entering this hobby not quite two years ago, and all the artists I was interested in using weren't doing work at the time so I decided to do nothing at the time. Other events brought me here late last year and people I wanted for faceups were available this time.
