I did once get a bit of dream rescue on a faceup and immediately wiped it off with a paper towel soaked with warm water. It didn't do any harm, but it was something I did in a rush so I don't really want to say that water and paper towel is a good method. I would think a cotton ball might be better, because a paper towel is rough. You probably don't want to clean a faceup unless you really have to. Any abrasion is going to take it's toll over time. missadventure364 Posted April 5, 2018 A little magic eraser on the face is fine, as long as you’re careful. You can’t scrub too hard or you might wipe away the protective coating or face up of course, but honestly face ups are not that easy to remove. I once had a bad accident with my marissa, in which some liquid putty spilled on her face. I will say I did use it right away, and was very careful, but I got everything off that’s wasn’t supposed to be there with magic eraser. The face up is still perfect.
