Hello! I was wondering if a DDH-09 would fit on a 48cm obitsu body without looking weird? Also, does DD NS look good with obitsu WS? Thank you.

DD heads will fit on Obitsu bodies. Here's one of the easiest methods of attaching a DD head to an Obitsu body:

The "without looking weird" part is a matter of personal taste. I don't have many DD heads to use as examples but Baldylox here on the forum does. Look through this thread to see if you see what you're looking for. He has quite a few examples of DDs on Obitsus.

Also, does DD NS look good with obitsu WS?

Volks normal and Obitsu White Skin are pretty good matches. How good a match can vary with the color of the particular batch of vinyl. Some batches match better than others. Some people prefer Volks Semi White with Obitsu WS but again, this is just personal preference.

It’s for a DDH-09 on an Obitsu 50 body, but the two bodies are nearly the same anyway. A 48cm Obitsu just has shorter legs.

 

I actually have(had?) a DDH-09 on an Obitsu 50 body, and it looked fine to me for the most part. Since you already have an AP girl, a DDH-09 head will look quite big next to her. Obitsu shoulders and necks are also a little bit smaller than DDs too which makes the ‘bobblehead’ effect even greater. I tried to minimize that by faking some sliiiightly wider shoulders by having her arms nudged a little bit out of the shoulder/chest internal piece. (But not enough to mess with her posing ability)

Regarding the skintone, Obitsu whitey has a predominantly yellow undertone while Volks in general is more pinkish. Personally I think I like matching semiwhite with Obitsu whitey instead though, if only because it would make it a little easier to blush semiwhite to match better.

Oh, so I guess 48cm and 50cm wouldn't make much of a difference? And yeah, I was thinking that the head would look gigantic next to my AP, but I'm fine with that. As long as it looks right on the body. I looked at your pictures and it looks like a perfect fit. No bobbleheadedness at all. Thank you for the information!
