Don't Look!

 

Me: "Hey Lucas, Naiomi wanted to know if you wanted to work on some set design tonight. She's busy at the moment so she wanted me to ask-"

Lucas: *tries to throw himself over his current drawings* "Don't look!"

Me: "What are you up to?"

Lucas: "Just trying to work on some projects..."

Me: "Those are some cute elephants... And those hearts look like they were drawn with a lot of care..."

Lucas: *turns his face away* "..."

The drawings were a request from Tama for Lucas to draw some cute things. I love being a pain in the butt to Lucas.

There is something really sweet about dolls drawing, especially when you incorporate things like 1/3 pencils. This reminded me that I saw a pack at a market meet a while back but didn’t end up getting them. If I see them at the next one I might!

Those are way cutesier pics than I’d expect from him.

This is totally not how he prefers to draw. Only Tama could get him to do it. The level of cute that these drawings illustrate how smitten he is with the Little Prince. Lucas would bend over backwards to impress Tama.

 

I thought about the pencils but at the time I was so wiped this was all I could manage. I have a thin dowel rod I could have done a quick pencil with but even hauling Lucas around was taxing.
