Hopefully I'm doing this right

I'm really awkward at these kinds of things, I'm sorry.

 

I finally decided to make an account, mostly because my girlfriend was pestering me about it and now it's something that we can do together. She's been trying to get me into the hobby for about two-ish years now. She's showed me pictures of the dolls, and let me in on her projects so we'd have a common interest. Recently, she gifted me a Rise doll, and so now here I am!

 

Her (maybe I should say our?) latest project is a set of custom dolls modeled after the cast of Darling in the FRANXX. We've been watching the show together, and it's her newest favorite anime, so we're commissioning face ups and whatnot for the characters. I think her trying to get me into the hobby was a success because I'm just as excited for this new project as she is, haha.

Welcome! I'm new, too, to the DD hobby, but I've been in the doll hobby for awhile. I also convinced my BF to join after showing him my dolls, but it'll be awhile before he starts researching to get his own. Congrats on your Rise! She's very unique, and I have a soft spot whenever I see her since she is from one of my favorite games. I hope your projects go well!
