Trying out New Hair + Eyes

So I've been playing around with Jayde, working on a new look for a potential new dollfie, and it turned into a complete disaster. By which I mean, I fell so hard for the new look - I'm not sure I can put her back!!

Has anyone else made drastic changes to their girls and kept them that way???

 

I thought Jayde was cute and gorgeous and stunning before, but good lord did she prove me wrong.

I don't know what to do now!

 

The eyes are from White Dolly Story from Taobao. I originally bought some seagreen ones, but they just looked so dark on her, especially after Lizanna's Emerald ones. So in anticipation for girl #2, I bought some purple ones and I just LOVE them so much.

 

The brown wig is also from Taobao (Eternity for U), and the blonde wig is from Leekeworld. Again, I love the brown wig and not so much the blonde one...I think I liked Jayde's previous blonde wig better, even though it's lower quality. I trimmed a lot off already, and she still just looks so shaggy.

And of course, once I started playing around with poses and new clothes...well, my heart just decided to leave me.

 

And this setup is the one where I just fell in love. How can you resist that face??

 

 

I never should have put purple eyes on her.

And with her new look, the name Jayde doesn't seem to fit anymore!

 

What would you do? Should I go with this new look - and a new name? - and work on getting a 2nd girl that I can reinvent as Jayde? It seems so mean...

Her new look is indeed super cute! You're right, that last photo in particular is extra adorable.

 

I can see how it might create a bit of a dilemma though. Since my own girl (and planned future Dollfies) are based on pre-existing characters I've never had this problem myself and thus probably can't be of much help, but maybe keep her like this for a while and see whether or not you miss her old look?

Oh Wow! I can understand why you don't want to change her back, for sure! Her new look is totally adorable, but it does make her look much younger. Maybe your new girl could be a reinvented Jayde to become the older sister?

She is really beautiful with brown hair.

The eye and hair colour fit perfectly.

 

I did order the same doll and I'm thinking about the eyes at the moment. Considering red or blue eyes with black or brown hair.
