EblKtty Posted May 3, 2018 (edited) So I feel like this is a much needed thing for the people who like to do customs. It is often really hard to find clean blank pictures of limited molds. I will be updating this list as time goes by. In order to keep clutter down please only post with an actual contribution!! It will keep the thread more organized. A proper post should have a straight shot and two profile shots from each side minimum. Additional angles welcome. Mark your post clearly in this format: Pictures Mold name Skin color Default eye size And example would be: Pic pic pic Mai Shiranui Normal skin 22mm This format answers most basic questions when trying to make a custom dollfie I believe. I recently got a Miku that I’ll be wiping eventually, but she’s already accounted for. I’m looking forward to seeing a blank Karin, and I’d reaaally love to see a blank Yukiho if possible. I am continually surprised at how sharp/deep her eyelids are, honestly. It worked great for the 30's cat-eye thing I went for, but it is admittedly a bit weird to sketch/paint on. Zai Posted May 30 I’d love to see a blank Y’shtola if anyone an example of one? Her default face up is beautiful but I’m itching to add to it, maybe soften it up a bit? She’s an OC so I have no desire to keep her looking like Y’shtola herself. Maybe something between an Icon face-up and a traditional DD one but it’d be easy to go overboard? Not a face-up artist myself at all so wondering if I should just add to the existing face up or wipe her and send her off to a much better artist than myself. Or just keep the default… I’ve seen some beautiful customs of her but a few where she seems to have lost some of her ‘essence’ if that makes sense. Or I could just buy a few cheap heads to learn on and do it myself eventually. Argh~ I’ve even been too scared to add eyelashes to her, lmao. She… wasn’t cheap. 😆 Great thread btw! That helps confirm that she might not match well with other anime style DDs when comparing her with other blanks. More Super Dollfie-esque than I imagined, although it’s not as noticeable with her default face up (that or the lighting in my apartment is terrible). Wavering on whether to just wait it out for the twins, try out a 2B/9S/Icon or even a Rise or KOS-MOS. Would love to do something interesting with her eyes but the fear of messing her up plagues me, haha, and the chances of me finding a floating Y’shtola head are quite, uh… small and I’m not sure I’m desperate enough to buy a second full set.
