Sunny Days (Astrid - DDS Anastasia)

I dared to go out in the burning 75F Wisconsin heat, when everybody was apparently inside hiding from the 'heatwave'. Don't get me wrong, it was toasty, but hardly toasty enough to keep Astrid from enjoying a lovely day in the park.

 

Astrid is a custom DDS Anastasia, with face-up by the superbly talented Constellar/Pleiades/Subaru. Her eyes are custom by her as well. The lovely bow is made by Buncho.

 

This is, I think, a good image that gets across Astrid's personality. Her hair's a little messy, and sure she's friendly and happy enough, but it betrays the sharp intelligence and painful honesty I imagine her with. Also I think this is the first (and last) time I'm not quietly twitching in frustration at a picture of a doll with flyaways in their wig, lol.

 

 

 

 

She's very lovely. Constellar did an amazing job on her faceup; it brings out the beauty of the mold. Your styling is nice and suits her well, too.

I have to say, the lighting and colors in these photos seem to convey cool, pleasant weather, not at all like 75F

That's a chilly winder day here. Everyone is outside when we get mid 70's. We're going to be 108F this weekend.

Sinclair Aww, thank you! Lmao in the South eh? I just got up from five years in Texas so I GET IT. I remember the rare winter day it'd drop to 60 and everyone would have scarves. Your blood thins real quick, ahahah. It's really nice to be able to bear the outdoors and be comfortable enough, and everyone else is inside because it's too much for them. Nice and quiet to be "that weird lady with the doll"!

 

Singer Yuna Thank yooou! I'm realizing I'm out of practice (and rather terrible) at taking non-portraits, I need to practice. But she's a good subject.

Astrid's overall style with the blue theme is gorgeous! really nice work on the face up too especially with the eyelashes. it really brings out personality. Also Cute sweater is cute.

She's beautiful, and she looks so serene! The cool, muted blues of her outfit suit her so well.
