Help! Order issue with Legend Doll

I placed an order for three wigs with legenddoll.com almost three months ago originally. They contacted me about five weeks ago and said that one of my wigs couldn't be fulfilled, and I asked them to substitute a different one. They said that was possible, and that my order would shop out in 1-2 weeks. As I said, that was about five weeks ago. I tried emailing the account they used to contact me last time for a status update, and when I got no response I tried their general customer support email, but still nothing. I don't actually want a refund, I want my wigs of possible, but obviously if the order can't be fulfilled I'd want it back. The clincher is that since this was originally three months ago I used my current shipping address, but now I'm within a month or two from moving permanently, so I'm getting really anxious. I didn't think I'd have trouble with a known seller like them. I'm aware that they are obtaining these wigs from other companies, but that they didn't respond to my status update request seems rude to me. Is there anything else that can be done, like a better method of contact? Has anyone else had trouble with them?

I don't know how you paid but last time I had a issue like this (waited nearly 4 months on a item that was "in stock") I filed a paypal dispute. That generally gets a instant reaction and usually a instant action. Obviously not something I would recommend all the time, but only in cases where clearly something else needs to be done.

I've never had to open a dispute before, is it still possible to get my order that way or will I just be asking for a refund?

This doesn't have to do with how to deal with Legend Doll. I've never ordered from them so I wouldn't know.

 

But I had to move houses once and I was waiting for a few stuff that were delayed. I went to the PO and asked for a "redirection order" basically. I don't know how you could ask for it at your PO, if at all possible. But basically what it does is, I filled in a dobleepent with my old address and my new address and whenever they got stuff in for my old address, they redirected them to my new address. This cost me like 3 euro I think? And it's valid for like 8 months or something like that. It's exactly for situations like this, like when moving and you are waiting for stuff or late bills.

I think that would just get you a refund but not 100% certain

I have used them a several with no issue. Have you try posting a message on their message board I have always had a quick response though that.

So, an update! The same day I started this thread I also tried one more time to ask about the status. This time I did get a reply, they said the second wig I picked was going to take at least three months to get. I asked about another somewhat similar one, they said that one would also take a while, but suggested a fourth choice that was also similar. I replied that their choice would also be acceptable if it meant receiving my order sooner. Today I got a message that my order shipped, and I don't think at that point that I would be cheated at all. So the moral of the story is, some of the wigs they list can take a really long time to receive though they aren't differentiated at all, and also their customer service is willing to work with you, though they'll be very slow about it. Once I receive the package it should hopefully be a happy ending.
