Thank you for the measurements! Most glasses I see for SD sized dolls are too big for the face, but these are a bit smaller and look more normal. I really like them....I may have to set aside some money and get them later. Though I do wish they came in silver, or black. I might wait for color options. x3

 

Does the nose piece seem like it will scratch the face at all? Or is it nicely rounded off so there's no sharp bits there?

I thought I would be safe from the glasses, but no! They look so good on Rin! Now I want all the glasses.

Um they’re not sharp, but they’re not rounded. More rectangular in shape. Should be fine as long as too much pressure is not applied. I was trying to wedge the arm between the head and daughter of evil wig, which is tighter than her other wigs, and put a wee dent above her left ear.

 

Do you think a hairdryer would fix it? I don’t know if heat works the same on heads as it does bodies.

I agree. Most glasses are just improperly sized and sometimes really fragile. I think even Volks released some really fragile glasses with a DD, although I can't remember which one. So the fact that they can hold up to some abuse is a very good selling point to me.

they don't come with lenses but you could just buy a sheet of acetate and cut out your own.

What colour are the glasses? Red or black? I'd like to get black ones

But Danny has shown other colors and that says they're the beginning of a line so black should be availble sooner or later.

 

Sniiksnak should verify what I said because they look darker in those pictures.

They are red, I just have terrible lighting. However, on the page for the frames there is a picture of Kanata also sporting a pair of black ones. So hopefully they could be available in the future. c:

I like just noticed that Choo has explicitly stated in the details of Kanata’s glasses page that:

 

“The glasses are *not* designed to fit dolls made by other companies - if you attempt to put these on them then they have a high possibility of breaking which will also end your warranty.
“

 

Just in case anyone breaks them on a DD/other and is like >:0 when get no compensation.

 

 

 

They fit the fattest of DD heads fine, but like, for if this turns anyone off.

Eh, I don’t think it’s too bad. I’m hoping a blow dryer will fix it. Gonna try tomorrow.

 

They must be sharper than I thought, because I don’t understand how it happened. If I thought them too tight I wouldn’tve left them on.

They're so expensive ($88.something usd), I honestly still wanna buy them, they look pretty sturdy which is cool. I also love the style and color, and that you can buy lenses.
