How to get rid of new vinyl smell?

I just got my first Dollfie Dream and boy does she smell like pvc. Is there any way to get rid of or lessen the smell of the vinyl without hurting the doll? Thanks in advance.

They do that if they are boxed up for a long time too. The smell will pass with time, and I don't know any other way to deal with it myself. Someone else here might though.

I don't know if it'd work with a doll but generally baking soda will absorb most odours. People will sometimes leave an open container in bathrooms to reduce lingering odours, for example. If you have a cabinet you keep her in maybe put a small cup/bowl with some baking soda in next to her, or if you keep her on a shelf leave it close to her. No idea if it'll work but it's an idea, I suppose. Good luck!

That's really how I got the smell out of my Ranko. When she arrived it was really strong, but after a few weeks it was a lot fainter.

I like that smell.

It's like new car smell.

In Ranko's case it was very chemical and very pungent. I actually worried it might be cigarette exposure when I first got her.
