I actually don’t recall seeing any other option than multiple payments over time on a card or PayPal, but I’ve only used the store twice since the relaunch so I might have missed it. 

Edit: and to clarify it was the simultaneous payments only part of the error that made me think that option might be part of the problem.

You can pay with credit card.

Well, that was very painful but, dare I say, enlightening experience. After an hour and a half I managed to get her. Feeling totally spent. Good luck to all of you who's still trying.

Ok just wanted to be sure. Like I said I have never seen that error, so I am trying to suggest possible causes based on the error text. 

One option would be to close your browser and start over, and see if it clears the error. You could also open a different browser and try with that, it should be safe, but I am not 100% certain of that because the Volks site has always been a bit finicky.

Simultaneous means all at once to me, so if you are trying totally normal PayPal payment then it may just be a system error. Those can be totally erroneous if the error doesn’t match a known cause. 

Yup, I paid single payment on my credit card as well.

They just seem to hate all three of my credit card numbers although all three are 100% correctly typed so I'm back to trying PayPal. I must be having the most difficult time anyone has had trying to buy something from them.

Last thing I might suggest is checking to make sure your card company hasn't locked the card because of the foreign transaction attempts.

All three of them though? My most regular is my Visa and I've used that for many purchases from Japan and even one from China. I know that's not the issue. I'm honestly at a loss right now at how they're constantly finding something new to be like "nope, we're not letting you order this".

Well, when I try to load the web store now it just redirects to an error message. It says the site is extremely crowded right now and there’s been an error and to please wait. 

yeesh Volks I get wanting to test it the new site can withstand a clickwar but maybe using Miku as that test wasn’t the best idea...

I was thinking more if you tried three through Volks and then only one of those through Paypal it could be a card lock.

I can't even get in to see if she is out of stock or something. They might just be overloaded, and can't process.

HOLY EXPLETIVE I'VE DONE IT. 

I just hope this time when PayPal's like "hmmm this purchase is awfully expensive- is this legit?" I don't accidentally reply with the wrong answer. I recently bought a used Vita just so I could play a proper Project Diva game on something almost like the Switch instead of my PS4 and I said the purchase wasn't authorized by accident. 20 minutes on hold with PayPal trying to correct the situation doesn't compare to 2 hours trying to place this order. 

The reboot Miku is still available as far as I'm aware because that's what I was after. I couldn't tell anyone about Sakura. I've warmed up to pink since my early childhood, but if I'm ever getting a pink Dollfie it'll be Luka (or pink dress Princess Peach if they ever make that dream come true). Even so, after just spending $700 I barely have... I doubt I'll be getting another any time soon. God, I need to get around to selling some Mattel dolls I don't want anymore in order to justify this. 😓

Gotta say, I'm pretty angry at volks right now. It's been 3 hours I've been f'ing around on their website and while I have a miku in my cart, I can't even finalize payment for her because the pages keep dropping out.  😡

I am so frustrated! I have been trying constantly since the beginning.  I logged in about twenty minutes early so that part was done.  But I cannot even get past the point of the product page! I am not sure to reload the page that tells me that the site is too crowded or to go back out to the previous page.  I have tried both.

I have even tried logging in through a different browser and nothing.  I want her so much.  This is the first doll I have tried to buy from Volks in several years.  I usually avoid clickwars. But I have wanted a Sakura Miku ever since the first Miku came out.

I am going to keep trying and also tomorrow with Volks USA, but I guess I just needed to vent a little.

Welp...I get all the way to the final order page and I keep getting this error (according to Google translate): “Enter a zip code using 8 half-width numbers or hyphens.”

I have tried changing my zip code to the ‘plus 4’ with and without hyphens. I have tried adding 0s to my regular 5 digit zip code.  I have changed credit cards, I have tried PayPal (got the same settlement error mentioned above) and now I am at my wits end.  It is like she is RIGHT there and I cannot reach her! 

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Nevermind...out of stock now.  Going to corner to cry.

Was it sending you back to a page in Japanese? Half-width is a reference to a specific input method when entering text using Japanese input.

About an hour ago I checked the site and it loaded fantastically and she was still in stock, now she’s on ‘will be restocked.’ I guess we’ll have to wait and see whether or not she actually will, but people who want her should keep checking back.

It sucks that it went so badly, though. I really don’t understand why she wasn’t lottery.

Everything else on my page was in English with my country listed as USA.  I never understood the problem.o

I tried for 3 hours straight & tried all different angles to try to get in but never got past the product page! The experience was horrible!! In the end I went to YJ to see what they were going for & found one "buy it now" for $727.64 with free shipping to my shopping host. They will charge a flat $4 for item + shipping to me. I figured the 60+ dollars + shipping was worth it from the standpoint of keeping my "bleeping" sanity.

More drama related to this fiasco. PayPal is what got my order to work, but I just had to cancel my American Express card. Turns out there was a $74,000 (not yen, they said dollar) charge from “V-O-L-K-S”. Volks claimed they couldn’t use any of my card numbers and yet... I only got one order confirmation email so I’m only getting one, but wow that was a mess.

wow this morning i try to see the volks page and for 3h dont work, when i enter the outfits i want are all sold out, but a 1h later i see the sd red kimono in stok again and i get it. I love sakura miku but man this clik wars are not for me, lucky i have a regular miku from the first release.

$74000 instead of yen, that's something new. Hopefully you cleared that up with AmEx so they aren't sending out bounty hunters. 😛

Some of the outfits have a "receive notice about restock" option.

I'm glad at least most of y'all were able to get her, at this point I've washed my hands of it. I'll get her used off manda or something, it's not worth it. =_=;

... That said... what times is the Volks US lottery, or did I sleep through that? /shot
