Volks Classroom Set stains or not?

Hi. I'm interested in the Volks Classroom Set (Desk and Chair) and I was wondering if there is a risk of the chair staining a Dollfie Dream's exposed skin areas if the doll were to be seated for a long time, like a week or so?

I can't speak for that set in particular, but I always put something under them. Even if they just sitting on the edge of my desk I don't want furniture polish residue getting in the vinyl.

 

I've had the saya from Sakura Shinguji's sword adhere to the vinyl, and the same with the lacquer on Excaliber's pommel. Now I always operate on the assumption that just about anything can adhere to vinyl or stain vinyl under the right conditions.

Yes, the chair does stain.

Thanks for the answer, Sinclair! And thank you too, Wolf! I didn't know that even the weapon accessories that come with Dollfies can cause problems. I only knew that certain fabrics and wigs will stain them. Now, I won't have unpleasant surprises in the future.

Strangest stain I have had happen was from setting a doll on top of a bookshelf for less than a minute, and having her get stained from a streak of grime that I mistook for discoloration in the wood.

I've had the desk/chair stain, but only thought it had happened because my girl's legs had been recently treated with RemoveZit... either way, exude caution!

Mai's been sitting on this chair, and I can confirm that it stains. It's not a horrible stain since it ends up being about the same color as the AP blushing, but after a week of her sitting on it on and off (she sits on it for a few hours, then I put her away when I'm not around), it's fairly obvious.

I've resorted to using towels to head it off, but it sorta kills the atmosphere. 😆

It's otherwise a really great addition to my desk.
