Saber's Day Out

As soon as I got home from a job interview Friday (They chose not to hire me, sigh.) I rushed off with the in-laws to lay some tile at the family cabin. Of course I couldn't go alone, and Saber won the lottery. Since there was only one drill to put the backer boards up, I took the time to spend some time with Saber while the father-in-law was putting the boards up.

 

Here are some around the cabin.

 

 

 

 

 

Due to recent rain there were little yellow flowers everywhere.

 

 

 

With fun sun there were lots of harsh shadows so the shot I really wanted didn't turn out quite as I liked, so some stylizing and here it is.

 

 

Saber had to go exploring some too.

 

 

We had a good time, then went in for lunch. After lunch I got the tile laid.

 

 

And yes, that's Saber snoozing on the couch in the background.

I totally agree with this. Sure, we all love seeing Yaya and her antics because she's adorable and fun. But it's great to see your other girls too.

 

Saber's outfit looks great on her. It's a perfect fit and gives off that country girl feel just like the photos do. Nice work on those! The flowers were also a nice touch for a pop of color.

Thanks for the kind words. I adore Saber, but she is a quiet reserved type so it's been kind of hard to focus on her for photos, especially since Yaya is such a bight (In your face.) girl. And I just love this wig on Saber. The wavy hair suits her so well. I need to find a wig that is just all wavy as the clips ons are the only wavy parts for this wig, and one keeps slipping down on it's own so I had to adjust it for every other photo (I really just wish there were more twin tail, pony tail wigs that weren't clip ons. The clips are such a pain.).

If you are always going to mount the clips in the same spots, then put one of those tiny clear hair ties on the main part of the wig just below, the clips will stay in much better if there's something to keep them from sliding.

Saber looks so pure and innocent with those twin tails.

Saber is so freaking adorable! I love her fluffy hair! I want to play with it so bad. I really like the stylized photos too.
