I've had BJD's on my radar for a number of years, but the cost and huge number of manufacturers scared me off resin years ago. However, since I started doing reroots + inset eye mods for Monster High dolls, I got the urge to look into larger dolls again. To be honest, the new draw was the larger canvas that 22mm resin eyes would offer! I've been making eyes for about a year now and I think I'm finally goo enough to sell my work! Although, it's a little difficult to sell eyes without a model...right? So, I bought a DDH-07! Right now it's the only 1/3 vinyl doll piece that I own, but I'm hoping that will change son, - I just need to get my butt in gear and put together an Etsy for my eyes, as well as practice more with making doll wigs (I really only have experience with human cosplay wigs and fashion doll reroots). I know I'm super new to everything, but I'm eager to learn and to meet people! He/Him --- I like making stuff --- Please don't make sexual/lewd comments about my dolls, thank you! For now she's just gonna stay blank though, so I don't have to worry about anything when I start making my first size 8-9 wigs. It's a lot easier to clean bits of glue off of a blank head! That, and I don't have to worry about chipping or rubbing with all the handling that comes with wig-making and crocheting. I do really love the SSH-07 sculpt though, as I'm personally not a huge fan of very circular eyes. He/Him --- I like making stuff --- Please don't make sexual/lewd comments about my dolls, thank you!
