PrinceWolfe Posted October 8, 2018 Hello everyone. I'm getting my very first custom Dollfie Dream Boy doll for Christmas but im having trouble figuring out the character. Im stuck between Juuzou Suzuya, Aoba Seragaki, Nai from Karneval and Izuku Midoriya/Deku. Their all cute characters but i haven't finished watching BNHA yet and I haven't started Karneval yet either but i plan too. I just feel weird having Deku or Nai as a character if i don't know to much about the series. So i need help deciding.
Meggiekarp Posted October 8, 2018 Based of my personal taste, I would go with Aoba Seragaki.
PrinceWolfe Posted October 8, 2018 Based of my personal taste, I would go with Aoba Seragaki. I was thinking about Aoba but i know there's not a lot of like unnatural colors out there for doll wigs, So if i did i think i would have to make his wig colors blue and brown. Monty Posted October 8, 2018 There are -lots- of unnatural colours out there for doll wigs, Volks just doesn't sell them for whatever reason. (All their best ones are Akihabara exclusives and even then there's only a handful of those you can buy separate...) I've seen this Aoba wig on Stacey's Pink Ocean. http://www.stacyspinkocean.com/product_v.asp?id=1713 You can get it in different sizes (DD would be 1/3) However note that theres the possibility that it could stain a vinyl doll - especially if the lighter parts are dyed or coloured with hair chalk (its hard for me to tell if they did that or if its different coloured fibres). Once apon a time i had a Kaito smartdoll and his first wig was actually one similar to Aoba's as it was all I could find (you would think a short blue wig would be simple to find but apparently blue wigs in the tone I wanted came in every style imaginable except short), and I just (very badly) cut off the tail things. I got it from the Azone store in Akihabara and the box said it was a Dollce wig...but I cant find it anywhere on the Dollce site. I think Aoba's outfit would be much more difficult (and if you arent particularly handy yourself, you would have to commission it) In my personal opinion you should go with a character you like, as long as its something that seems doable. You could also just have him be your own character so you aren't pressured to have him look a certain way. *twitter*instagram*art*

Im actually learning how to make doll clothes so the two i currently own can have some cute clothes and I plan on making Miku's Project Diva outfits but until then i was thinking i should go with a character thats kind of casual, Aoba's outfit is complicated, and it'll be worse for a doll because the clothing is smaller. So i'm thinking either one of my OC's or Nai from Karneval. I follow you on instagram and your dolls are just all so cute!
Monty Posted October 9, 2018 I think an OC might be easier but as you can sew that does open up your options. Aoba’s weird fashion would be a great challenge, even if you don’t do it immediately. I hope you post pics of the Project Diva outfits if you do make them! I personally really love having my OCs in 3D, it’s really cool, although having characters you like is just as cool too. What it comes down to is how soon you want your doll to be complete/how long you are willing to wait - a complex character will take longer, for example. In the end it will be your decision and not ours, and I can’t really tell you what you should do. But I hope you have fun with it. And thank you for the insta follow *twitter*instagram*art*

And thank you for the insta follow I'll definatly post pics of Miku's clothes, for the first one i'm starting off easy and i'm making her Nyanko Miku outfit. I bought the figurine at an anime convention in May and its just so cute. But it's tied between having a custom Juuzou Suzuya resin BJD or having a DD/Obitsu Nai from Karneval. violette_22 Posted November 18, 2018 Congrats on your boy! In case you cannot decide, what if you make a character inspired by all those you love? If you like the hair for one, but the clothing style of another and like one's face the best.... then you could have the best of all worlds? Just a thought. I'm excited to know more boys will be around. I love boys the best!

The only problem now is that one of my dream dollfies is listed online for very good price, It's the Saber Alter Santa Version, and I've wanted a Saber doll forever but i also have the chance to get the Dollfie Dream Sister Boy body. I know Volks will have Standard boy bodies in the future and Obitsu has one but....It's a dilemma because i've never seen Saber priced less than like 800 bucks but at the same time I really want a DD Boy. darlingdeers Posted December 15, 2018 I'm a little late to join in on this (by that I mean super late to the thread) but I would love to see a Aoba Seragaki custom. Juuzou Suzuya would also be great but Aoba has a special place in my heart because he's what got me super into visual novels and introduced me to Nitro+ and Nitro+C. Aoba is one of my favorites as well! The game however isn't to my liking so i'm more of a fan of the anime which was actually the third anime series i've ever seen and i named my black pomeranian after Ren.
