Poofiemus Posted October 15, 2018 So, we were GOING to do a meet at the Japanese Friendship Garden, but a flash flood on Saturday put an end to that plan. . . and also kept a bunch of people at home due to poor visibility and roof leaks. In the end, it was just me, Mimiyo, her boyfriend James, and to a lesser extent, Mimiyo's mom, meeting up at Arizona Mills mall. Seems Abby still has a crush on Mimiyo's Ted. . . And Fate found a kindred spirit in James' Kos-Mos. There's something oddly old-school about a mall with a carousel in the food court. Abby--I mean, Princess Candy Corn--greets her people: the children who were fascinated by our plastic midgets. Abby, stop being so cute, you're gonna give someone a heart attack. It seems Ted can fall asleep anywhere, and Celia is not amused by this. I should probably photoshop the stand out at some point, but I'm a lazy bastard. After this, mall security got a little squirrely, saying that people arent normally allowed to take pictures inside the mall. (When I left, I saw a board labeled "Code of Conduct" and it SPECIFICALLY said photography was prohibited for commercial purposes. Wish I'd read that before they came over and killed hte mood, but oh well.) We wandered around the mall itself a bit, and found a shop that had a bunch of cool bead rings that make great DD bracelets, for like $1 each, so that was also fun. Hopefully we can do the Garden next month, though! In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.

sinclair Posted October 15, 2018 Sigh, I wanted to come, but yea, that rain, and other issues. And about photos, are those guards from the 90's or something? People are taking selfies by the second in the mall, I guarantee.
