DDS Sailor Mercury and Mars

Quick question, just curious - has Volks sent anyone their PayPal invoices yet?

 

 

I haven't gotten one yet, my guess is that they're going to show up on the last day of the 2-5 day estimate they provided- maybe even longer if they're still having trouble invoicing people for non-event purchases from early January.

While my thing isn't related to Mercury or Mars I did go for the Dolpa outfits and I've yet to be invoiced for those....I ordered those on like Jan 18th.

 

Dunno why but Volks must be seriously backed up, or prioritizing stuff in a way that doesn't make sense to me.

 

I hope you guys start getting invoices (and me too).

Why is it every time Volks updates their system it always ends up working worse than it already did?

 

I have my order in limbo also...but in the meantime I see the items up for sale and selling out so it makes me kind of nervous.

 

Am I missing the opportunity to just go and purchase the set outright?

I can't tell if I won or not

Oh,this has just happend to me too! I thought they had misread my email,but maybe they’re going to send all the invoices for Mercury first.

I just got my invoice for Mercury too! Hopefully Mars will be coming soon.

I got Mars invoice too,still waiting for the uniforms. I fear they’re going to ship four separate boxes...it’ll be like Christmas

I got invoices for both dolls and both uniforms, all separate. Those shipping costs. XD Ouch!

Just paid my invoice for the Juban high uniform!

I've gotten, and paid for my invoice for Mercury! And yes that shipping cost, ouch.

Got my invoice for Mercury as well! I'm bothered by the additional costs too, it will definitely lead to heavy custom taxes in some countries (;・∀・)

 

Also, to anyone wondering, the final price of the doll did indeed contain the Japanese consumption tax. She is priced at 68 040 JPY on the invoice I received, in contrary to the 60 000 JPY that had been shown on my order history, a few days ago.

k... I understand people getting 2 separate invoices for Mars and Mercury dolls themselves, as those are heavy and big and shipping adds up...

 

But why oh why is Volks Intl doing same for the outfits?!?!? They're making us pay up the japan tax/fees but also extra 20bucks shipping because each item was invoices separately?!?! Is this their 'clever' ways to avoid PP fee losses

That or their system can't handle combined lottery entries like VolksUSA's can. But yes, the handling fee sure smarts having to pay it twice.

I was getting a little antsy waiting for my dolls to ship, so I went to my order page and both of my orders now have my shipping address attached to them- hopefully that means we'll be getting shipment notifications soon!

 

I'm getting super impatient waiting for them to get here, but the upside is that my new doll room still isn't finished so hopefully by the time they get here, it'll be fully furnished and I'll have a space to unbox and style them without making a giant mess lol

Won Mars, and the Juban uniform from Volks USA.

 

Didn't win Oscar, which is painful. Aftermarket is crazy for that girl...

 

I am thrilled I won Mars though.

OMFG, Volks USA is already at sending out their lottery results stage, while Intl is still somewhere in middle of figuring out if their PayPal payments are even a thing...... *le sigh*

I got Mars, and the Juban uni for my Usagi from VUSA. Little disappointed I didn't get Rei's uniform.

I enter the lottery for Sailor Mars, Lady Oscar, Sailor Mercury and both of the school outfits.... So far I only got an email saying that I won the chance to buy Sailor Mercury. Should I just give up on the hopes of getting the rest of the items ? This is the 1st time I enter the lottery

this is ...normal. Very normal actually, that is why lotteries are called "lottery"

Everything shows up in aftermarket resellers at insane prices eventually, but there is a good chance Mars will show up again thru Volks. SailorMoon did at a couple events after her lottery ended!

Congrats to everyone that won with Volks USA! And for anyone that didn't, I hope you're able to find them elsewhere and not for too much of a markup! I'm sure Volks USA will have Mars and Mercury in their Holiday Event at the end of the year, too!

really, don't fret about it. We used to have a more active thread keeping tabs on how many lotteries we've all entered and won or lost... There's a reason so many of us used to have friends enter the lotteries as "backups"! Often!!

 

Anyway, give it some time and start checking Mandarake or Y!J or whatever fav sites (stay away from eBay tho, that one is baaaaaadly overpriced)

There's already a Mars up there for 80k for example!

I usually get my Dollfies from shops in Tokyo such as ( Mandarake, Yellow Submarine etc.) I was ignorant to the whole lottery process. I'm not taking this Hobby more serious. Thanks for cheering me up. I was feeling like a loser there for a second.
