Monty Posted December 25, 2018 In Usagi's case the gloves had to fit like more like mittens over her posed hands, and you wouldn't be able the get them on over some of the hands if they didn't open along the sides. When I looked at them I was kind of like "ok I get it, but ugh." It’s a shame they couldn’t have done it like what they’ve done with 9S, where the glove seems to be almost shrink wrapped to a pair of hands that aren’t meant to ever be removed from the gloves - but that would likely would increase the cost of the dolls, especially because they wanted her to be able to have multiple hand poses with the gloves. I'm so happy about them being lottery, the new site is so uncomfortable to navigate and the checkout process is really weird, especially since the checkout page hardly has any English in it atm. I asked them via FB during Dolpa and they haven't gotten any news about them yet, but iirc they didn't post about SM until a few weeks after VolksJP starting shipping their lottery dolls! I imagine it'll be the same this time too. Edit: also, does anyone have any tips about the invoice process- The e-mail I used for my Volks account is different from the one I use for Paypal; is that going to cause any issues when they send the invoice? I wouldn't worry about no announcement for these Sailor Scouts yet. Volks USA only seems to miss out on dolls when there's some kind of licensing issue here in the states. I don't think that problem exists with Sailor Moon. After all, Volks did both a pre-order for Serena as well as had her for the Christmas event. Idolm@ster stuff might be iffy because Namco/Bandai is weird with that one, and you're definitely not going to see anything Macross out of VolksUSA until maybe after 2021. As for being a lottery, that's good to hear. Hopefully I can get the school uniforms. As much as I want the girls too, I just can't justify the cost of any new girls for a long while. I don't think it's possible to completely hide it on the left side of her face, but a flesh colored cap without the lace edge would be better. My Ami has been switched to an S Bust, so stock her M Bust will fill her uniform out a bit more. Hopefully these help people who aren't sure if she's right for them. Unfortunately the flash umbrella is reflected in her eyes. They are really quite nice, and definitely have that Sailor Moon feel to them, but the flash kind of ruins that. The edge of the cap in that image looks a bit odd, but yes her wig cap is visible at the part. Most likely that is the cap in that photo. I would say thought that on mine it doesn't stand out as much. I had to use a flashlight to augment the room lighting in order to really get a good look at it. cfx Posted January 16, 2019 (edited) Based on comments here about various dolls, I'm pretty sure there's a fair bit of sample variation in Volks wigs so it may be more or less visible on some. I've noticed the no-bangs Volks wigs seem to show this a lot; I see it in many pictures of Rin Kagamine for instance. Lately I've noticed several cases where the final product's wig doesn't look a lot like Volks' original prototype in their official pictures.
