I don't own one myself, but it's been something I've been interested in for years (well, dolls in general too). I've always wanted to create my own custom Usagi/Sailormoon doll (this was way before Volks released an official one).. but when I first saw the sticker price for DD I couldn't lay down the money. I settled for smaller Obitsus, but even then never got one. I have a bad habit of picking up a hobby, obsessing over it, and then never getting further than that. lol. Anyway, nice to meet you all. I hope you're able to actually pick up this hobby, so far I've made some extremely nice acquaintances and it's been fun brushing up my skills to make things for larger dolls. Currently everything my blank girl is wearing are all things I have made myself, and it feels really nice (even if she looks a little eclectic). Are there any particular facets of DDs that you are interested in? Some people love taking their dolls places for photos, and others makeup an identity and backstory for their dolls. He/Him --- I like making stuff --- Please don't make sexual/lewd comments about my dolls, thank you! I realized when I tried to register again and found out my email was already in use. my memory must be going. Anyway thank you for the warm welcome! What really interests me about DD is that they are basically anime versions of other ball jointed dolls. I've always loved creating things, and I love the idea that I could create Usagi (from Sailormoon). She's my favorite character in general since I was a little kid, so I always love stuff related to her. Ironically while Volks has released an official Sailormoon doll, I still want to create my own. lol. I do love that school outfit they're having a raffle (I think?) for... Thank you again!
