I've been stalking twitter all day and haven't seen anything. I'm going crazy lol.

All I know is there are cat PJs and the VIP item is SD hand-holding parts. I've wasted so much time refreshing twitter I may as well just be patient...

So they're already starting outfit rereleases...kinda seems odd to be rereleasing the Azurite Blue set so early though. Isn't that one still kinda recent? Or have I just lost concept of time.

I love those elegant bussle dresses a lot, and the winter coats are very cute.

More cat kigurumis...I may have to get one even though I already have two cat kigus...they're just so fluffy looking ;-;

I haven't wanted anything for like two years...there have been things I would have liked but nothing I had to have.

I like the maid dress and the casual set (though I fear that the trousers may stain a lot), so I'll just wait patiently for the digital version to get released to see some better pics.

Azurite Blue was released May 2016. Not so long ago, but they don't show up on Mandarake that often so may be somewhat rare, and I think the "Pretty" and "Elegant" ones are the only ones I tend to ever see there.

There is a ton of DD stuff on facebook. You might want to get a new gmail, and use that to get facebook. I personally can't stand facebook, but the DD groups keep me from deleting my account. Much of my profile data is bogus, just to keep control of my anonymity. I'm not worried so much about the people I socialize with there as I am about Facebook's tendency to helpfully try and connect me with anyone I have ever emailed in the last 30 years.

 

If you did get one, I'd advise saying no when it asks for access to your contacts.

If you’re viewing on a phone, you might need to switch your device to desktop mode. It was originally coming up as blank for me until I switched it.

 

Those mdd outfits are really painfully cute! The coats are also really nice....why am I always doomed by Volks winter outfits!? I swear they tempt me every year...

Yeah, I don't have a Facebook account either and I can't see anything. I just get a page asking me to join Facebook.

Yeah, that's what I get too, though earlier I was getting a just blank page with an "Oops!" message but maybe facebook had a problem then.

As much as I like Rei I'mma skip her cause I just can't get with her facemold. Maybe I'll split her and just take all the goodies.

 

Now on the other hand I AM IN LOVE WITH LADY OSCAR. I don't know the series she's from (it is on a to watch list but ya know...) I think the head would make a GREAT boy so I'm most definitely doing a split for her once the event comes around.

I would want her outfit for a DD because I love the military-type outfits, but as she's SD16 rather than SDGr or SD13, it's unlikely it'll fit anything other than maybe a DDdy, based on Volks usual outfit compatibility. And it's unlikely to be adjustable since it's a character doll's included outfit. I'm sure at minimum the pants are too long.

You're probably right about the legs, but you might be able to send the pants to one of the forums tailors and get them altered.

 

Small bust SD16 is long overdue imo.

Since you have both SD16 and DD maybe you can speculate on this--what do you think the fit of this outfit would be like on DD? Ok, pants are too long which is fairly easily fixable. I know the waist won't be tailored but that's true for all SD outfits. SD16 tops or jackets are generally listed only as for DDdy and occasionally DD3 L bust, but that's the existing SD16 which didn't have the small bust. Would a small bust make a SD16 jacket more likely to be a decent fit on a DD? I know SD16 dimensions are somewhat larger in most areas, but maybe SD16 S bust clothing wouldn't be an overly loose fit on DD M or L bust?

 

Oscar's coat is a tailored/padded thing with like padded shoulders, so that may help i.e. if the shoulders are a bit wide that's how it should be anyway. I don't really care much if the shirt doesn't fit well as I could use something else. I could even use other pants until I could get those hemmed; it's mainly the jacket I care about.

 

When I first saw those two dolls that was my first thought was I wanted that outfit. I didn't figure I had much chance of finding it since I'm not on DoA or other SD-oriented places but if Gunter here wants to do a split that's my chance, if the outfit would actually be usable on DD. I like Andre's outfit too, but not as well, and as that's SD17 (and a guy) I know it's not fitting anything DD so I wasn't even looking at that one.

 

While I'd want to be able to use the pants as well, I have an idea for something very specific where I won't actually need them because more appropriate pants for she who will be wearing already exist.

For starters, I actually like the whole doll, and I might consider getting her but sometime later next year maybe.

 

The uniforms are pretty nice. As far as fit goes it's hard to say. The upper torso on my SD16 bulks a good bit larger than a DD, but I am pretty sure my SD16 is from an older SD16 body type. The newer body has more feminine shoulders iirc, but I haven't seen one in person to compare it to a DD. The jacket might work, or it might be really baggy. The material looks like it might be a bit stiff too. It has that pressed military look to it.

 

I'd have to take a ruler to them, but the difference at the shoulders between my Takane and my Ami Ayase looks to be half an inch just by eyeballing it.

 

The waist on the pants doesn't look elastic to me, so it might be a fit issue there too.

I have owned SD16 girls and DDs at the same time and swapped their clothing. The main issue will literally be that everything will be too long and slightly too big.

 

As for the coat you can see how one fits here on a Saber Alter (m bust DD3):

 

 

This is a SD16 Ami Ayase outfit (ver. 1) and you can clearly tell it is a bit big (it is also a looser fitted outfit naturally), clearly the shoulders are wider and you can tell with how it fits her. Mind you that Ami had the original shoulders which were wider than the ones Oscar have so it will be a better fit. DD arms are slimmer so there was more room around the arms as well, but not that much. The sleeves slightly covered her hands. Her heels (very similar in length to Lady Oscar's I think) went up higher on the legs. The tube top and leggings fit just fine cause they were meant to be tight. I hope this helps. I wanted to focus on points that were related to Oscar's outfit.

I periodically search for that outfit for my Ami. She's such an elegant doll, and her default outfits are so upscale and stylish. It looks great on Saber in that photo, but my guess is that it wouldn't look as good if she were standing upright.

 

I've never thought of putting Ami's clothing on my DD though; too much black. Usually what I am trying on my DD is Designer Collection stuff that I buy for Ami and Belldandy, and I generally don't like the fit.
