Volks USA has the product list up for their holiday event. It includes Kaede and Yuriko Nanao, along with Kirito and Asuna V2 too.

Based on the given length of the event from the email: "November 19 @ 11AM - November 30 @ 3PM

(Pacific Time)" this is a clickwar not the more typical USA lottery, so if anyone wants the items like Asuna, Kirito, or Luka's Senbonzakura outfit no doubt it's best to be there as soon as it starts. There might be 1 or 100 of those items, who knows.

But, I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed by this. I guess I built up this holiday event much bigger in my mind. I had hoped there would be other outfit sets than what is being offered.

She's very elegant in person. I don't like her default jewelry much, but the rest of her outfit is really beautiful. I have zero regrets on getting her. Best of luck if you try for her.

Snow Miku is another great doll. Miku DD is just crystallized cuteness. If you get a Miku keep Ranka and her away from your wallet, and the deed to your car / home. Miku is very cute, but much like Yertle the Turtle she is Queen of all that she sees.

Yeah, I was expecting them to mostly be offering holiday themed outfits and items that were released in the past. Volks USA does the Holiday SD one-offs, and while those may only appeal to a small selection of people on this forum, they are a really big deal to resin collectors. It's an outsized thing they do for the holidays, so I guess I think anything else they do on top of that is more like the frosting on the holiday cake.

 

I'm not sure if these clothing items are being discounted for the event, but either way they are a decent selection for people who may want to bring home one of the DD they are selling.

 

Yuriko didn't surprise me much given the New York release event, but Kaede and the SAO dolls are a nice touch on top of her release. I am sure there are people who still want to bring home one of those dolls.

Akiraaaa T__T She’s one of my dream girls but I really can’t afford her at the moment... If anyone’s doing a split I’d take her head and/or wig. *crosses fingers*

 

Edit: So does the addition of Len but not Rin mean that Rin’s stock is out and she’s now completely unavailable? I was planning on getting her next time she’s put up for sale on Volks, but now my hopes are low.

Aaaaaaargh, I think Volks determined to get more money out of me. I've always had a hard time resisting Len and Kirito, and I've been toying with the idea of hypothetically using Saber Alter as a base to make Okita from Fate/Grand Order. First 9S, then Oscar, and now this?

It would be awesome if some of the preorder dolls from the last few years popped up.

I didn't get much (under $60 spent lol), but I' still pleased regardless!

I understand different character DDs are priced accordingly with how much stuff they come with or how elaborate the outfits are. But looking at the items in this event, why is Santa Saber $2 less than Yuriko, Snow Miku, and Usagi?

With Volks selling KOS-MOS and M.O.M.O. at AnimeNYC, I realized it's impossible to predict what they may come up with. Those two came out six years ago after all.

True and their aftermarket prices aren't much more than original.

 

What's more notable to me though is that Volks has inventory they have sat on for 6 years. I'm not aware they've sold them anytime in the interim, though maybe they have because I don't know what they have had at every event of course.

 

I'm guessing this was a fairly small number of dolls though as the pictures I saw from the convention, the rest of the dolls were ones they also had in this online event, unlike those two.
