foo Posted November 20, 2018 An interview was posted today, https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/feature/2018-11-20/interview-hideyoshi-shigeta-general-manager-of-volks-usa/.139760 It's mostly introducing the product to non-owners, but there's some interesting tidbits in there. BeyondTime Posted November 20, 2018 Thanks or posting that. I like that they are thinking about Sailor Venus, but I really hope they make Jupiter too. It would really be sad if it was only 4/5 of the inner Senshi. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be. “Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction
Monty Posted November 20, 2018 The interview seems a little weird and oddly worded. I’m wondering how easy it is to follow for someone unfamiliar with the dolls - it’s kind of difficult to tell when they’re referring to Super Dollfie and when they’re referring to Dollfie Dream. I’m glad they’re entertaining the possibility of Archer still. I assume they mean FSN Archer, who they already made the display-only SD of. As for Venus/Jupiter I wouldn’t expect them to confirm or deny any future releases in a random interview though, no matter how ‘obvious’. (Then again... they never did make the rest of the K-On girls, not even the ludicrously popular Azusa...but that could also be due to the sharp drop off of K-On’s popularity that seemed to happen about the same time Love Live came out, whereas Sailor Moon has a little more staying power.) *twitter*instagram*art*

With K-On I think you had an issue of needing to make Mugi's keyboard and Ritsu's drums. Would have really pushed the price up. I saw a DD sized set of drums for sale for a little over a grand once. Was a bigger set than Ritsu's, but still it gave an idea of the cost. Keyboards aren't exactly cheap either. You can get a real Korg Triton used on ebay for just a bit more than I've seen 1/3 keyboards go for. People didn't receive the follow up manga very well either. Sailor Moon has crazy staying power, but she did redefine the Magical Girl genre into something very different from the standard set by Go Nagai. XD The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin?
