Euhm....I kinda need to pay for my saber...but even if I tried the japanese site..they say my ID is incorrect and the english one seems not working at all..I wanted to pay like begin of the month but it was down and now the deadline is coming closer.....deadline is 28th december

 

Any hints or tips of solution?

 

They will be sending an email with payment instructions to all those who have yet to pay for their FGO orders within the next 6 days. Payment will be via paypal

Does this mean orders on the new webstore will also only be processed via PayPal?

 

If so that will suck for me since I seem to have endless problems buying anything where payments are processed via PP, and additionally if they're going to require a PP account I won't be ordering from them anymore. After having my account previously locked for no valid reason I deleted it and won't create another.

 

Funny if they've gone from no longer accepting PayPal to only accepting them.

I think this only applies to the FGO preorders, since the deadlines are this month and next respectively, and they seem to need more time than expected to set up their webstore system. Probably what they meant was that the links they originally provided for the preorder payments no longer worked since they led to the old site, so they can only accept paypal for the FGO preorders for now.

Play it safe and email them. I received most of my replies within 24 hours. They must be pretty busy though, one of the replies I got was sent at close to midnight on Saturday, and I'm an hour behind them.

Thanks for sharing, it's good to know that the deadline will be extended.

 

There's a notice on their homepage that the Customer Service Center will be closed from Dec 27 to Jan 7. Hopefully they will get the payment emails out soon.

I just reset my password and my order history is gone? My Nier dolls, my past orders, nothing is there. I am in slight disbelief that all of this is such a mess. Ugh.

It's possible that it has all been archived, and won't be a part of the new system.

 

I would suggest emailing them about the Nier orders, but you may want to wait a few days for the dust to settle. They're probably inundated with support requests right now.

The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be.

I saw that too. Matoi is still available which must mean she wasn't popular at all. Sheryl and Ranka too but they were a somewhat odd rerelease and weren't that rare or expensive aftermarket even before so I don't think that says anything.

I think I'm locked out for now. The message doesn't clarify either way, but the whole PayPal invoice business suggests it requres a PP account even for credit cards. After what I went through with PP I no longer have an account and do not wish to ever make another.

 

I ordered some things from them shortly before they closed the store so I probably wouldn't be ordering for some time anyway.

Edit: Looks like my shipping info is gone, and the new shipping page is really weird. Do I put my address, zip, city, state and country all in one line?? I'm confused. It won't even let me select a different country.

 

Soooo... it says they're accepting new international users early 2019. Are they not going to let me re-add my address until then because it looks like they deleted it??

...it sounds like everything is a bit off and confusing atm so I’m just gonna wait a week or so and see if they release some kind of statement to confirm things (ie Nier preorders), I’m sure they’re getting a lot of questions atm.

Hopefully everything is clear before the after event on the 19th.

To be perfectly honest... This web site is so bad compared to the previous one. Search is somehow even worse than before, when it required an exact match (try searching: DD Base Body). Items are grouped into bigger categories and there's virtually no way to filter it down so it's harder to browse too. They will probably have event pages eventually but as of right now all the past event pages are gone. As stated, a bunch of account config stuff is not working. Japanese text everywhere. Broken links too.

 

It's not like e-commerce platforms are hard to find. There are hundreds of them. They should've just gone with a third-party solution instead if this is all their IT staff is capable of... -_-

Yeah these things. Once it was pointed out to me on the old site that capitalization mattered, I never really had any trouble getting search to turn up what I wanted.

 

What really bothers me about the big categories is there's no logical grouping of anything within them. Hands aren't together within the DD parts section, for instance, nor is anything else really. Maybe it's ordered by popularity or something but it makes little sense when each category is so many pages.

There's a note on the page with ordering info:

Purchase history display and pre-registration of credit card information are currently under preparation.

We will schedule it to be reflected sequentially in future updates, so please be patient while we are sorry for the inconvenience.

So hopefully your order history and such will return.

It's certainly a mess. They were completely offline all this time and still it's all screwed up.

 

OT, does anyone else shop at Jungle? They've been offline for I think months now with this message:

The Japanese text says you can still order by emailing them. I'm wondering if overseas ordering will ever return given how long it has been.

What's probably most frustrating is there are no improvements whatsoever here. They only thing they've done is jumble everything up and made it even more difficult to browse for specific items.

 

Go to Shoes and then click that you only want to see DD sized shoes. Effectively all that gets returned are those evergreen plastic heels. Nothing else is tagged as DD size, so they don't show up. Similarly, you can click SD16 and many SD16 sized shoes don't show up. I'm sure the same thing probably affects the Outfit section in some way, but that section at least isn't so glaringly messed up on the size filter. Hey, at least those sections have reasonable filters, the Parts section (as someone mentioned above) is a jumbled and disorganized mess.

 

And there is still no way to filter out the Sold Out items. I guess Volks likes to keep those Sold Out listings because it makes their store look like it has more than it does, but when shopping the back catalog it's frustrating having to wade through literally HUNDREDS of sold out items. The ability to filter those results out should have been a top feature to add.

 

But there are no new features. It's just the same old filters, mostly the same old categories, only with things mixed up and the ability to filter even more broken than before.

 

Even the ability to order by Newly Released is borked right now.

 

And if there is a page for the upcoming event items in January, I can't find it. Oh, and even when I select English the page keeps on switching back to Japanese as I browse and navigate.

 

Yeah, I'm in a foul mood today and it's almost certainly coloring my opinion. But everything about this so far is convincing me to not bother with the next after event and just wait until the lottery on VolksUSA.

This is awful. I don't know if those size filters were perfect before in that if every single item was tagged correctly, but it worked well and they had clothing divivded even by bust size.

The Dolpa 40 After Event page still has a grayed-out link to the store so that's presumably still coming:

But as someone else mentioned, there's no previous after event pages now.

 

They are still adding some things I think, as I had saved links to some items from the old store and those now redirect to the new pages while they had just gone to the top page of the store. Still, even if things like this get fixed it doesn't appear it's going to be any improvement over the old store really.

 

This will likely push me to order more from Volks USA as well while I had previously preferred ordering from Japan due to slightly better pricing, more stock, and generally actually getting my orders faster for a similar or less shipping cost.

I wonder if that was one of their goals.

 

I personally haven't even bothered going to their site for months now, mostly to not having money, but now I'm just going to wait until the dust settles. But it does chap mu hide as I was going to try for the Sailor Moon school outfits. But if the site is that broken, it'll make it nearly impossible for me to handle a click war considering how bad it was before.
