Holy Knight - circa 2013

In the year of the Lord two-thousand and thirteen, we had a DD meet specifically to trade outfits and do fancy photos!

 

This was with Leitan (who since then has fallen off the face of the interwebz) and Pichu. Our meet was in a church. Because if there's one thing New England has plenty of - its churches!

 

We went on a Saturday as there wouldn't be services, just tourists... so so many tourists

 

Leitan has telephoned ahead to specifically ask permission and the err.. management[?] were super-welcoming and even allowed us to wander off into the roped-off balcony section for really good shots! (Got to see stained-glass windows up there so close *___* And hear organ practice!)

Pichu's Sakura rocking the fancy gown, Leitan's Mei only appearance (dun know how to white skin DD photo, need moar practice!)

 

The plums in Alter gown really go nicely with Sakura's eyes

 

Once again, may have seriously peaked here. This is my legacy!!

Her Grace is bravely holding up her great blade on the highest ledge with nothing but straight drop down.. because Master had to have column of light coming from teh cupola shaft!

Sakuya kept the sanity, and instead posed glass

 

and instead of climbing things, she would demurely lean on them

 

Good pose is easy, finding the right angle not so much (reject attempts)

 

Now she's just judging me for not being pious enough

 

In the end completely going from another side was the solution (now wanna go back & do this all over with Jeanne armor! who's with me!)

 

These are in a different church's garden across the street. Did I mention we have a lot of churches? 'cause there's one or two on every corner, for blocks on! What level of Historic Landmark or architectural fanciness you need, we got you

These are such great photos of Saber! Churches seem like an appropriate setting for Saber, but I agree that Jeanne would seem even more at home in a church.

Galvatim, .. i feel a good Saber & Jeanne in church photoshoot is already overdue, even tho The Maid is still shipping to people. Imagine the angled hip plates, the flowing hair, the skirts.... with a backdrop of stained glass!
