mangaemi Posted January 8, 2019 Hey everyone - so while buying a new home I’ve been checked out to Dollfie news and changes. When I went last week to go on Volks.co.jp to order some stuff I notice they only allow PayPal for over seas customers. However, now it’s like a set up where they invoice you? Since I wasn’t used to the new system I stupidly forgot to include my PayPal address so they had to outreach to me to get it, so that was a delay. Then they respond saying they got my PayPal address and will invoice means it’s been about 3 business days now. Soooo I’m curious how does that work for the items you were wanting when there are these delays? Has anyone used this new system and tried to buy some items for them to come back days later saying items are now out of stock? I’d hope as soon as you place the order it flags the items so they can’t be grabbed by someone else since they don’t allow non Japanese citizens to use a credit card. Once you receive the invoice, please make your payment via PayPal. I’d hope as soon as you place the order it flags the items so they can’t be grabbed by someone else since they don’t allow non Japanese citizens to use a credit card. Unfortunately I highly doubt this based on what else I've noticed that I mentioned in the other thread. I had kept track of various body parts that according to the old site they had less than 10 of. This new site now doesn't show when stock is under 10, and it lets you place that many in your cart for items that they don't have that many of unless they had a huge restock during the changeover. So I don't think the new store is tracking stock at all, and if something sells out it's likely it only gets flagged as such manually. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Suldrun45 Posted January 10, 2019 Their new system takes really a long time: I placed an order on Dec 27, received and answer on Jan 03 asking me for my PayPal account and received the link to pay only today Jan 10. mangaemi Posted January 17, 2019 Volks has esp or I have bad timing... lol I got an invoice about thirty minutes after I made that post. Though, did anyone get a tracking number from them after you paid? I checked my order status on their site it didn’t list it and neither did the PayPal invoice. Sent them an email to check on my tracking number and got this response: Dear customer, Thank you very much for your inquiry. Apologies for making you wait. Currently, we are receiving a very large number of orders, so it takes more days to correspond than usual. We apologize for this inconvenience. We will contact you one by one, so please be patient for a while. Guessing they’re really overloaded with this workaround system? So approx two weeks (10 business days) from the date they invoice (and assuming you pay the same day). x3Ashley Posted January 26, 2019 I ordered last year before they changed their website but when they had already stopped accepting PayPal directly without this new invoicing system. It took at least month and a half, because it was over 3 weeks before they invoiced me and another 2 weeks before they shipped the order. I definitely don’t recommend it but as someone that can’t buy from the USA site (I live in Australia) unfortunately we don’t have any other options. Sorry if I’ve overlooked this anywhere but does anyone know if there’s a date set for accepting normal PayPal orders again? I don't think so; the only info I see is the "News" on the front page, and that just has the "we're working on accepting credit cards directly again" note, but no timeframe for anything. I did notice that it appears they already do this for Japanese customers based on the information on how the Sailor Mars and Mercury lottery worked, so I guess it's an overseas-only issue. The email the notice was sent from says "*This email is sent by an automated email address. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL." so just hitting reply wouldn't be the best answer. And it doesn't say what email to send to, but does say use shopos@volks.co.jp for any questions. Is that the one I send my PayPal info to? On 18th Jan I ordered MDD F3 body for my floating Mayu Tamano head (she'll be my first dollfie!), didn't get the invoice after a week, also noticed it's out of stock now, so i asked them if i should cancel my order. They replied that my order is secured and i shouldn't worry, but they are busy with so many orders, so it takes longer. I thought, ok, cool. On 28th they asked for my paypal id, so i sent it to the email they gave in the message (shopos@volks.co.jp), but just in case, i also made an inquiry and gave the paypal id there. They didn't specify how to give them the id, like sinclair said, so i wonder if i did it right ;D I didn't get the invoice yet, so i'm worried again... but i guess they really are that busy. Hope i can get my invoice soon, i will stop worrying so much then ;D I'm in UK, so JP Volks shop is my only option if i don't want to overpay on ebay or something... c4tbus Posted February 20, 2019 i ordered some stuff on the 19th of january (regular and after event items) and got my paypal request email a week later, but still haven’t gotten an invoice email! i have been trying my best to be understanding and patient because of the new system, but waiting over a month for ‘in stock’ items to be shipped is a little ridiculous. i checked the order status and it still says the order is in preparation, so i’m assuming i will still get the items i ordered even though some of them are out of stock now. is anyone else waiting on an invoice like this? Volks has never failed to ship me the stuff I've bought. These last few months they have been slow, but I am sure they will normalize. I think their business image is very important to them, so I am pretty certain they can't be happy about the delays. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin?
