Now that people have been complementing Volks how smoothly everything went with February collection click-war, I kind of hate to ask this... 😅 Has anyone been able to pay via Paypal recently on Volks' international store? Gallye Posted February 25, 2020 I was offered the option to use Paypal, but I'm in the US, so they may do things differently for people over here. From their info page on payment it states that the options within Japan are credit card and cash on delivery, while everywhere else is credit card and Paypal. Assuming that is correct you should only see the COD option if you're in Japan: https://dollfie.ec.volks.co.jp/ext/guide_payment.html#3-a However, it wouldn't be the first time that the info pages don't accurately reflect how things actually work at any given time. I ordered during this past clickwar, but I paid by credit card and didn't really notice what other options were shown. Edit: I didn't mean to imply the help pages are lying about how things work. It's just that it seems like as they have changed some of the ordering details, the help pages may still refer to how things were before changes happened, or alternately be updated first before changes are made. I checked my member information, country information is correct, my address also. I guess I have to contact Volks, and see what they can do about this. cfx Posted February 25, 2020 I just logged into my account to look over things and see if I could notice anything relevant to your situation. Maybe, maybe not, but I do see one thing has changed. There's some previous discussion, both in this thread and I think somwhere else, that for anyone outside of Japan, it was necessary to make sure the "postal code" field in the profile was not set because it would cause credit cards to fail. Because that had been talked about, I went and fixed this before ever placing an order on the new site. As of right now, that field is filled in, not by me, and this last order went through, so they changed/fixed something with that. If that field isn't filled in for you, perhaps that is an issue with it deciding where you are located. Now, I don't know whether to remove my zip code from the other address line where it had been. In the confirmation email for the order it's now listed twice because of this change. I guess I will see what the printed address looks like when I receive my order. My boyfriend was helping me during the clicker war the other day, and he actually managed to sign in to his account and make an order. He had the option to use PayPal... However, whenever I make orders now I only have the two options of Credit Card or Cash on Delivery. He lives in the UK the same as me, so I don't know what gives. His account is newer than mine, but still seems weird. I was able to use PayPal the entire time up until a couple of months ago. I guess it would correlate with the site being updated? My information still says UK and all seems fine on that front. I have been thinking about messaging Volks about it, but I worry they may say I did something wrong when I didn't change anything! Lynn Posted February 26, 2020 I'm sorry to hear that there are others with same problem with payment options! I contacted Volks and they couldn't find anything wrong.
