Important note: this is NOT the Volks maid set. Her Grace doesn't deserve the endless drama of the infamous stain-monster.

This set is the wonderful replica one can get on Taobao or FromSen. It has produced absolutely zero staining (after weeks of wear), and did in fact come with the mop accessory! (unfortunately, it's hella junk, broke immediately and needed to be glued back together)

for bonus nerd-cred, how much fandom can u ID in the background... once can tear eyes away from those lovely ruffles (I'll get you started, there is absolutely a Buffout bottle frm Fallout)

 

Still didn't have a stand, but already had a chair! Very important piece of furniture

Fun fact - this photoshoot is also my experimenting in Natural Light vs Flash

Thus - snap 1 in ample natural light from the window

 

vs snap 2 - with the speedlite flash

 

Moving the flash around gives great shadow silhouettes

 

 

aight, everyone knows this is coming - the standing poses as originally seen on the Alter figure

 

We has a bucket!

 

Unfortunately, the board was far too slippery to do this pose more. The mop would slide away from just being looked at wrong

 

 

 

the flash really makes for very dramatic shots

 

Sadly the mop was far too flimsy to attempt any kinda of "lean on" poses....

 

so we switched to sitting poses instead!

 

really, I'm peaking here! How will top this cuteness snaps in the future

Such a perfect outfit, I really need to get it. sigh

AWESOME PHOTOS! I love how she looks in her maid set! She carries it so well and it fits her perfectly. And the mop and bucket rock! It's too bad the mop broke so easily.

 

I had to go back and read that this is not the Volks setup because it looks so good. From-Sen really does make some first rate cosplay setups.

 

Thanks for sharing these, they look amazing! I need to see if my Volks set will fit my newest Saber since it was designed for the M-bust and she's the S-bust.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I used to own the PVC statues of this, and I just love how you recreated the setup with your Saber DD. Good job!

Awesome photos! I'm never sad about seeing photos of Saber. The maid set is perfect, and the mop/bucket props (even if fragile) are great.

Thank you. I remember back then leaving her wearing it for weeks and my mother couldn't get over the mop too, she'd find reasons to pop over to my desk and poke at it constantly

 

It took me ages to figure out the main outfits difference! On the official Volks - the choker bit is all lace with ribbon threaded thru, and on replica it's a solid ruffle... and maybe the shoes are different, but *shrug* the outfit came with shoes, can never argue with moar shoes!

 

Your Saber has another issue aside from smaller bust ya know =P Shorter legs! This was designed for reg height base-II girls. The zettai ryoiki ratio might suffer

oooh man, I've always wanted the figure (either Saber, or Alter or even the chibi Saber) but so expensive.... but now she can be an annoyed moe maid anytime =P

Future long list of new clothes, yeah? I hope with the new Fate/GO dolls, Volks will bring out new outfits based on in-game art or Unlimited Blade Works series! Saber needs her cute white coat with blue scarf so bad
