February Outfit Collection 2019

Suits are back as well as some adorable magical girl/idol-esque outfits for DDs! I’m glad I held off on the after event because the Cotton Candy Sailor is the perfect aesthetic for another 1/4 doll of mine, but I’d like the bigger one as well.

Ooh I like the Fresh Tight Suit (these names lol) and as that's an SDGr outfit fit should be good.

 

Also finally low-heel black pumps! I think the only way to get those from Volks previously was from Saber Lily.

That is an awesome collection of clothes. I really like the elegant business lady outfits but most of all, I LOVE those pastel idol-eque sailor outfits.

It's a mild bummer that the pink idol-sailor was is only for MSD/MDD-sized dolls. I wanted that one for my Rise.

The cotton candy sailor outfit in pink and the white angel nurse ones are really cute! Hopefully I can get one when they’re avalible online.

These are all really nice! Feels like catering hardcore to certain niche interests, but I think it's a good idea for the in-between releases like this.

What I want to know more about is those wigs! All the DD wigs are new styles, and some new colors too, right? I want them all T_T

the uh... ladies office wear titles appear a bit unfortunate... was putting "OL" as in the name instead just too mainstream? unstylish? (and they come with stockings instead of pantyhose? ha!!)

The sailor outfits, man oh man. The pink one has Illya's name all over it. And then the nurse one I can skip the hat, wings, and arm band and it's a maid uniform.

Those are all Dream Choice/D'Coord limited wigs. (I think Dream Choice has a bunch of wigs that D'Coords dont have either). It's always frustrating to be teased with them like this, because the only way to get them is with a full doll...and theres no online catalogue! But at least this is a way to get an idea of what's available.

I kinda wish that now that they have even more limited wigs, they'd just put the original Akiba-only wigs online already (the green(ie miku), white and pink 'dream wigs'), because tbh the selection of wigs available online is really...not great, in both variety and quality. Kinda like how now that they have even more limited Akiba-only heads they made 08,09 and 10 standard.

A more minor thing I suppose, but I also thought it a bit odd that the model for the DDdy White Angel Nurse outfit has Type-P eyes, since those were one of the styles discontinued as of 10/31/18, and are no longer available on the Volks Japan website at all.

I don't know if it was ever stated online anywhere. I think it's pretty sad Volks now only sells six styles of eyes that are readily available...and no so readily since they're out of nearly everything in 22mm.

So there's no way to get that blue wig on the cotton candy sailor model (blue)? That wig color is like perfect for a character I was planning. I am disappoint.

Yeah, give us the good wigs already!

I was at Dolpo in December and most of the DD limited wigs were sold out. I did manage to snag a Miku green one from Mandarake, though. Maybe I'll bug Volks USA to see if they'll bring some to LA Dolpa this year!

I placed an order for the purple idol outfit and the pink earmuffs. Hope it goes smoothly once I get my invoice.

I want that suit I mentioned above but with how Volks Japan is now I will wait for Volks USA to have their event.

Has anyone gotten their invoice yet for this collection? Just trying to make sure it wasn't sent to my spam and got deleted

I got an email yesterday asking for my Paypal address.

 

At first, I just replied to the mail I got but it gave me an automatic response to say it was a "no replies" email account so I resent to the shopos mail address.

I got an email asking for my PayPal address Feb 16th to which i replied that day.

 

Got invoiced Feb 18th /paid for it on Feb 19th, payment was due by March 3rd

 

I mailed volks asking for an update on my order, they told me they are shipping items out from March 4th - 7th

Maybe end of March. It's hard to really say for sure, but their stock has to travel over from Japan before they can hold the event. I am pretty sure it comes over by ship, so maybe 6 - 8 weeks from the original event.
