cfx Posted June 30, 2019 Yeah, I figured that part. It was a safe buy for you either way. Given what Volks considers to fit that I don't, I imagine fit for that jacket on DD is going to be loose or weird, but as @sinclair pointed out somewhere earlier in the thread, a "too large" jacket like that on a girl can also look like a fashion statement, so it might still work. BeyondTime Posted July 1, 2019 (edited) I tried it on Yui Hirasawa since I was changing her outfit, and I would say it’s a no on a DD. The arms are way too long, and the body just looks off. The material is too stiff to make it look like a girl wearing her boyfriend’s jacket, and the effect is more like a kid wearing adult clothing. It’s going to look great on Oscar, give her that vintage 1980s teen look. Edited July 1, 2019 by BeyondTime The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be. “Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction

That's my issue in general with how so much Volks clothing has what I consider a poor fit; since the material is mostly about as thick as human clothing material, it doesn't drape the same way on a DD, so if it's loose it doesn't look right. I hadn't thought of the right term before, but kid wearing adult clothing is a good description. Well, I had thought of it with the shoes. Those pump-style shoes that are way too large to fit properly (usually the SD ones, the SD16 fit better) remind me of those things where a little girl is dressing up in mommy's fancy clothing with shoes that are way too big for her.
