Time to begin summoning your Servants

Received the following email from Volks. The time to gather up the final payment to summon Saber has arrived. Deadline Sunday, March 25th 2012. Check you emails if you preordered a Saber!!

 

Because we have had many requests from our customers, we have decided

to begin taking final payments for the TYPE-MOON X DD Pre-Order Project

earlier than originally planned.

 

PLEASE make sure to read this email completely and also thoroughly read

instructions on the final payments page.

 

You can begin making final payments now. The deadline for all final payments

is Sunday, March 25th, 2012 @ 6PM PST.

 

If you miss this due date, please remember that any down-payments made

are non-refundable.

 

The items which you originally pre-ordered are:

 

 

In the case that you placed multiple down-payment pre-orders, we will send

you a separate email for every pre-order placed. Please make sure to watch

for all of them.

 

Basic instructions for placing your final payment are below, but there is more

information on the instruction page, so once again please make sure to read

everything there thoroughly.

 

Step1:

Please put the final payments for all of the items which you pre-ordered

originally into the shopping cart. Make sure that one “final payment” order

matches with one “down-payment” pre-order. For example; if you ordered

two Saber Alters in one pre-order and two outfit sets in one pre-order, make

sure that you do the same for the final payment orders as well. Do not change

the combination of items ordered.

 

Step2:

Please make sure to copy the title of this final payment notice email into

the comment box when you check out. This includes your original down-

payment order’s number and will help us track your payment correctly.

 

Step 3:

Check out in the usual manner.

Yup...I got two of these emails for both dolls. I am happy to know I have until March to pay for both the dolls and the extra outfits!!!!

Must be holiday money ppl want to get off their hands before they spend on something else. I think I'll wait till tax time myself unless ppl who pay now get into some early shipment queue.

That is an interesting question.. Previously, dolls would be shipped in the order that the pre-order was placed on Volks' site. Does paying earlier or later change your position in the queue?

 

(if so, there's a reason to pay right away, but if not, there's no reason to pay until the last possible moment in March...)

 

EDIT: I sent Volks an email to ask them. Will update with what they say when I hear back.

 

EDIT2: Volks says it doesn't matter when you submit final payment. The dolls will be shipped in the order they were received on the website.

Yup I paid off my Saber Alter in full when I ordered. But I got the email for the training outfit. Still awhile until she arrives but it's still exciting~

I got my e-mail last night, so excited I think I'll also probably wait till my tax return is done, which should get done fairly quick once my W-2 & Bank Savings papers come in the mail~

 

Once she's paid off I'll be even more anxious to have Saber Nero arrive

I didn't received any... we paid for Saber in full at the beginning, so I think it's for this reason?

Oh yeah Bellatrix no worries, they only sent the e-mail to those who did the down-payment plan. If you already paid in full they aren't going to send you an e-mail

That is great that they are allowing early payment, I can totally understand the desire to pay something off when you have money just sitting there just waiting for it.

 

Since it doesn't seem to affect shipping date, and I am in the June batch . . . I think I'll pay mine off in February, or whenever that one doll I have for sale sells. I would have liked to pay her off asap, but I just paid for Mariko.

I wish I would have pre-ordered her now that I know when the final payment is...

 

Ah well, I'm really excited for you guys that are getting her. I'm sure she'll be wonderful to photograph.

I'm in the June batch for Saber Alter so I'll pay her off beginning of March, it's good to know volks gave a long time to pay off the sabers XD !

 

I can't wait for Extra though, she should be released by the end of this month ( or early Feb ) *u*
