ninja1011 Posted March 1, 2019 Not sure if I should ask this here but I was wondering about articulated hands. I follow this user on twitter that uses articulated hands to hold fire arms.(dont have permission to post links) I was wondering if there was a go to articulated hand that most people go to for dollfie dream. Also are there any available for MDD?
Monty Posted March 2, 2019 Most articulated hands as far as I know are made by GensouDoll who sells at Dolpa/maybe other doll events also. He has an online site here: http://gensoushop.cart.fc2.com/ but currently the MDD hands are sold out. When they come back you may be able to use a shopping service to get them (unless he ships internationally, I am not sure) - or if you know anyone attending any Dolpas in Japan they could pick some up for you. (he will be at Kyoto Dolpa next week and probably the rest too) 1 *twitter*instagram*art*

Monty Posted March 2, 2019 Do you have some, Growcian? I know Buncho here does, but I’m not sure if you need a proxy to buy from there or not, or how often they restock - people who own them would know a lot more than me. *twitter*instagram*art*
growcian Posted March 2, 2019 I don't think I have any useful info concerning buying them online without using a shopping service. I bought the ones I have at a (non-Dolpa) doll show when I visited Japan last December. Based on the conversation I had with the various staff at the Gensou booth, I don't think the dealer is ready to sell to customers outside of Japan. I was looking for horns and wings (which Gensou also makes) of certain colors. When they weren't available, the online store was mentioned. I said I live in the US. That ended the conversation. That, and this link: http://gensoushop.cart.fc2.com/laws ...says the payment method is a wire transfer with no other method listed. If you have a Japanese bank account, that's not a big deal. If you don't, you'll pay through the nose in wire transfer fees by trying to send money to an overseas bank account. Not only will your own bank charge you for the wire transfer, the receiving Japanese bank will charge Gensou its own wire transfer fee. In other words, the amount of money sent must also take into account the fees Gensou will get charged by its own bank. Paypal won't work here. That got complicated quickly. Unless you (or a friend) go to a doll show you know Gensou is attending, using a shopping service seems like the best idea.
Monty Posted March 2, 2019 I just now heard that Buncho used a proxy for them. As for how often they restock, I can’t say. *twitter*instagram*art*
