sinclair Posted March 8, 2019 I'll admit, I'm a bit out of the loop due to being unemployed for 6 months, but I was able to recently order stuff from Volks USA again. Or rather pre-order and enter and win a lottery. The first change I saw was in the lottery winning notice. In the past it was a plain text email with a link saying click here to pay for your items. This time it was a nice HMTL email that not only had a link, but listed the items I won, so it was no longer a guess until I logged in. A very nice touch I though. Then my pre-order of the new Snow Miku outfit. All was as the past, getting a plain text email confirming my order, until today when I got a HTML email whose title threw me for a loop until I was able to read the whole thing. It was an email to notify me that my order had been successfully passed onto Volks Japan. That's new, does that mean there was a chance that my order that I pre-paid for may have not gone through? Are these new things for Volks USA, or have they been doing it for a few months and I just missed the transition due to inactivity on my part? I'm all for the new method, but something to tell me they were making the changes would have been nice.
cfx Posted March 19, 2019 I do believe they've changed things up, and there are some quirks as well. I made an order recently and when it was shipped I got what looked like two identical emails. Part of the new style has a formatted invoice in HTML. I finally noticed the first one didn't include the tracking number while the second one did.
