Error's green wig. Ver 3 (finished photos)

So some may remember that I make wigs for my dolls, but I wanted to show off my newest wig that I have just finished =3 

Error has always been the hardest to work with as her hair is in between neon and normal green. but I found a wig on Etsy for sale (for humans) and pulled it apart for the wefts. it's taken a while to finish but that was due to my health but now it is done I am super happy with it. I do have to get it cut but for now, it will stay its full length. 

 

Don't mind the messy room haha.

Amazing work! It looks adorable on Error!  Wig making always seems like it'd be long tedious work, I really admire the people who are able to sit down and get a wig finished since I know I'd probably give up half way through...

I don't know if you have any plans to make wigs for other characters with hard to find hair colors, but may I suggest trying Arda Wigs? I've bought a few cosplay wigs from them and they really do have a rainbow of colors! They sell wefts separately for about $10 USD if I'm remembering correctly, and I'm pretty sure they sell internationally, though I don't know how much shipping costs outside of the U.S.

thank you for the suggestion. I think that may have been the shop I first ever bought wefts from to make a wig. that's way back thought so I don't remember haha. 

I don't think I have many wigs to go atm. my next doll in line is a tea Smart doll but there is not a head I like for my boy Kazuna. he had "normal" brown hair also so that wont be as hard to find haha.

Very nice!  I really love how it has a mix of shades instead of just one solid color.

Indeed, its been hard finding the perfect colour. Even this one is not perfect but is a good step in the direction I want for her. once I am feeling better I will be taking better photos.

Green is a really hard to find hair color for dolls. I had a doll once that was supposed to have green hair and I had such a hard time working with putting her together. I ended up scrapping her.

Indeed. For Error, it is a mix of a green wig with a parting and no bangs as well as the length (that is to the back of her knees.) meant I had to make her wig in the end. 

I like the mix of colors in her hair, I think it brings some depth to the wig and it looks really nice on her. It really brings out the color of her eyes. Wonderful work!!

Thank you ^^ I do love the mix of colours and the contrast with her eyes. once I have practised a bit I will be making eyes as I think it will be fun.

Error's will stay green but I have all the others to make as well as some got my Gaara doll too. so I will make a bunch.

You have a Gaara doll?? That's so cool omg. What kind of doll is he?

And I'm sure they're going to look amazing! Be sure to show them off when you get them made 8D

My Gaara is a DD Male with modded 09 head. You can see him if you have a look at my dolls here. Not sure how to get to it. I will make a post later when I make eyes. 

It took a bit to find, but I see him! He's really well-done, amazing! And the rest of your dolls are quite pretty as well, thnak you for pointing me in the right direction!

haha well on my phone there was no link. BUT on the laptop, there is on the Id bar at the bottom lol. Also, thank you, I am very proud to have him. His modification and faceup is by Clockwork-Angel and one day if she opens up her commissions again I the future I will get my girl Error done so she can be cuter.

I like to joke that the only reason I have ever watched Naruto is for the Sand Village, primarily Gaara and his siblings. Your Gaara looks awesome!

I keep hearing their name mentioned, and I see why! Clockwork-Angel does really beautiful work! I'd love to see what she could do for Error too -- though she's quite pretty already!

Haha, thank you ^o^. I will admit fully I am a Suna lovely more than the main storyline lol. one day waaay in the future I would like to make both Kankuro and Temari along with some other main characters into dolls but that's super far into daydream land for now.

Indeed. you can find her on Instagram easy as she mainly posts her working there. she uses to be active on facebook but after some annoying circumstances, she left and didn't return. but she's super nice and always talks on Insta. it's just a shame her health has put a stop to commissions for now. thought I fully understand as I have health problems also which slow me doing things I want

I'd love to see Kankuro as a doll with even more bjd puppets. It'd be a doll with dolls. I love it 8D

And Temari would probably look great as a doll, too! I honestly haven't followed Naruto in ages, but a friend of mine is still involved in the community and dragged me back into it at least a bit. I spent like two days reading the Naruto wiki |D;;

haha. Well, I have a long term plan for dolls. the list goes Oc Kazuna - Shino - Kankuro - Temari - Shikamaru. then it's holding off making them all one by one to make all the characters XD I can dream one day I will be rich and just have the entire cast of the show XD

That's an awesome set of goals though! I hope you can get them all somehow! I hope one day we're both wealthy enough to afford all the dolls we want... on the other hand, at least in my case, maybe it's for the best that I can't get all the dolls I like |D;

And hopefully in your case, by the time you can get them all, Volks will have released a Male body that isn't a total pain to get ahold of. Are Len and Kirito the only ones right now? Oh, and 9S, eventually, I suppose!

Indeed Len and Kirito are the only guy bodys out atm. 9S I think is DD guy with the F3 frame. so yeah when they are about he will be the 3rd DD male body

He seems incredibly popular (along with 2B) from what I've read, so I'm sure once they release you'll be able to get one eventually! Hopefully in time Volks will just release a male standard model... but then I've been waiting for them to make Tan dolls available outside of Japan for a while now, too. >.>;

Are there male Obitsu bodies? I know there are SmD males, but I also know that modding a Dollfie head to stay on an SmD body is kind of a pain, in addition to the difficulty in getting one... you have a long road ahead of you, but I know you'll get there eventually!
