RainAndSnow Posted March 28, 2019 Hello everyone! I've been having some trouble with my DDS and staining. I have a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream and have left it on for multiple periods of time and having no results at all. Maybe the bottle is old (I just bought it a few days ago) or I'm not using the correct brand/type. Even the few YouTube videos and articles I've read had results within an hour later of application. Also, getting Remove Zit and the Dream Rescue Cream is out of the question since it's over my budget. Any advice would help greatly. Thank you!
Mizuumi-no-Otome Posted March 28, 2019 Have you been exposing the stain to sunlight or heat while it's covered in the acne cream? Continuous light/heat is essential for it to work, either by leaving it out in the sun for a few days or under a heat lamp. It could also be that the stain is too deep to come out quickly, so repeated sessions will be needed to completely remove it. Is the stain dark/old? Those tend to take much longer. I forgot to say that I do put it under a heat lamp. Also, the stains are pretty faint but noticeable close up.

Thanks for the info- you might have to just leave it on longer then. I've had dolls with stains that took an hour, and dolls that took several days. You could try very gently scrubbing it off with a magic eraser as well.
