mitsuki Posted March 1, 2011 Suomi finally came. I pre-ordered her back in November. She has the DDII base body with the new shapely bust.
Galvatim Posted March 1, 2011 Congrats on Suomi! She's cute! I'm going for a smile kind of like that for Aya, although I might do more of a smirk.
baldylox Posted March 2, 2011 WOW.... She is adorable! I love the eyes and lashes! She looks too sweet! You did good on getting this body and head combo Mitsuki. She is a gorgeous girl and I know you're proud of her. I like her outfit too, it's really nice looking on her. Congrats! Halcyon Posted March 2, 2011 She's pretty. On the other hand, aren't the eyelashes a little bit too long? DD 娘 - Dollfie Dream® Daughters {1} : DDS [ユ-ピィ] - Euphie
Pupi Posted March 2, 2011 She's pretty. On the other hand, aren't the eyelashes a little bit too long? Yep, but them are so charming! She is a really lovely girl even if I don't like her espression (those eyebrows are a bit no-no to me... ><')! Hear wig and her eyes matches perfectly! enthusiast pasta girl - she/her - power bi Mini Mode Lab
mitsuki Posted March 2, 2011 Thank you! Yes, her eyelashes are ridiculously long. They look so dramatic like that. I have several different styles of eyelashes and sometimes change them out.
Halcyon Posted March 3, 2011 Thank you! Yes, her eyelashes are ridiculously long. They look so dramatic like that. I have several different styles of eyelashes and sometimes change them out. Oh, I'm sorry. It's just that Euphie only have one set of eyelashes (and I'm not planning to change her eye lashes). I think Euphie's current eyelashes fit her quite well. Yes, Suomi looks very dramatic with those eyelashes on. On the other hand, she would look very nice with some fancy silk clothes on! Or maybe a black Gothic dress and a very small black top hat on. MsGeek Posted March 3, 2011 That alternate faceup DDH-02 really looks melancholy...not in a bad way. It's very, very Japanese, that sort of stoic/tragic look. "Shikata ga nai..."

She doesn't look too depressed or worried. Your interpretation is perfect.

mitsuki Posted March 9, 2011 Thank you, di-chan123! I might try switching her eyes out to the new ruri-kon/dark blue ones.
OtakuDepot Posted March 14, 2011 I know I'm a bit late but congrats!!! She's very pretty. I love her shy, almost timid, look. Makes me want to give her a hug. Though, I think that might scare her senseless. haha Otaku Depot's growing family. “Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.” ― Terry Pratchett, Jingo

jun97 Posted March 16, 2011 I think I really want to try this eyelashes thing now, after seeing them on your dolls.

jun97 Posted March 16, 2011 How do you put them on?
mitsuki Posted March 16, 2011 I have this water soluble craft glue that my mom sent me that I use. It dries clear and comes off with water. It looks like this: http://www.plazaart.com/products.php?page=3369&a=6&id=401021 I trim the eyelashes to the size I want, apply glue to the side that will contact the DD eyelid, and position them onto the eyelid. I try to hold them in place for a few seconds. The glue usually sets quickly. There are more complicated procedures out there too: http://www.figure.fm/post/en/1322/Dollfie+-+Eyelashes.html
