Hiya! I'm Ava, most people call me Aero though!

I got my first resin bjd in 2008 and have wanted a dollfie dream since then but I just ordered my first MDD at the beginning of this week!

I'd say it'll be my only one but I've said that about every doll type I've had and they always end up bringing more friends home OTL

I like to take photos of my dolls and action figures, my favourite model to take with me for photos is my busou shinki, Partio:

I'm actually in the process of curating and trimming my toy collection down and because of the stuff I've sold on ebay I finally decided to just finally get my self a MDD!

She's a DDH01 that's getting modded by ShiNesWorkshop! She's based on one of my OC's called Haze (who's actually a boy but *shrug* I just want some pretty dresses)

Oh wow, that's a crazy coincidence! I actually have a DDH07 order with ShiNes that just finished (expecting it to ship in the next few days). Your excitement is a little too relatable lol!

(S)he is very cute! Any excuse for cute dresses is a good one, that's the part of this hobby that really clamped down on me and wouldn't let me go honestly

Thank you! I've went with boys with most my other dolls so I've put my foot down and decided this version of Haze is for pretty dresses. Hahaha!

Honestly I have zero complaints, she was super communicative and sent me progress updates/photos at every step, and made sure I was happy with everything. You're in good hands!

Did you order the full doll through ShiNes or just the faceup?

How exciting arrival! i have also been lurking around ShiNes customs. Just wondering... did you send your head to her or did she supply one? I have an MDD Rena & DD Candy I may want customized.

Welcome Aero! I'm a newbie too! I have many resin bjds & just stared loving the vinyls. I love them too much as I have been going crazy with wanting everything! I need therapy... Oh, BTW I love love your country, so beautiful & with Sam Heughan from TV series "Outlander" in it, gosh no words!!

She supplied the head, so that's included in the price of the commission. I'm not sure if she works on other people's heads, but you could probably ask. She's pretty responsive to questions in my experience!

ShiNes Workshop seems to be very popular lol

I don't think the box is standard with every order, only with the "Set A" or complete doll packages on her store. It is very pretty though, I agree. I was super surprised when I opened it up - I was so excited to have the head arrive, and then the popup scene totally blindsided me!

(I feel like I've hijacked poor Aero's thread... sorry 😅)

Aaah, I played a role in that as well, so sorry Aero!! I will move this to PMs I think so as to avoid further intruding on someone else's thread ^///^  I'm overtalkative and happy to be in a forum where I can yell about dolls without getting That Look. ^^;
