Manami at my parents Christmas morning!

Since I knew my sister was getting a new body for her girl Tsubaki, I made sure to bring Manami along to see her. And it's a good thing I did because not only did Tsubaki get Manami a present, so did my parents and sister!

Manami LOVES the book "Where The Wild Things Are" so she was given 3 more plushies to add to her collection!

 

 

Now she gets to open the BIG box of presents! All these gifts aren't just for her tho, she is going to share these with her sisters too. Well, there's ONE she won't be sharing...

 

 

She got this very ornate stocking with something special hidden inside...

How's this for different? My Mom found us a DD sized Ice Cream Churn! The handle spins and turns the stuff inside too! Now my girls can make their own ice cream!

 

 

Pretty much all of my girls love Sanrio and their Hello Kitty line. So how can you go wrong with a PINK Hello Kitty?

 

 

And finally, my sister got some fairy wings for my girls to use in cosplay!

We all had a great time and as usual, Manami and her sisters got spoiled!

Those are wonderful photos! Fairy Manami is so cute. So is fairy Tsubaki. I can imagine Manami getting into trouble with those binoculars. haha We make our own cinnamon chocolate ice cream. It is very special to me, so it is particularly heart warming to see that ice cream maker. The personalized pillow is so cute and a lovely pink. Tsubaki looks so adorable in that light airy white outfit. Manami is darling in Peach Frill. Skeeter sure is cute.

All I could think of when she got the wings was that it's a good thing they don't actually work or with the wings and the binoculars I'm pretty sure I know what Manami would be focusing on from her new high vantage point. Especially on her Dy sisters and friends.

Thanks! I liked those binoculars and churn too! Never seen those in DD size before. And I have no idea what Manami will do with the wings.... but I know another girl or two here who will LOVE seeing them!

I found out that the ice cream churn and binoculars were both parts of American Girl sets that are no longer made. So getting them was hard to do for my Mom. She says people bid high on some of these things... she had already lost 2 auctions on the binoculars when they went over $50 each! Crazy I know.

 

I don't know if Manami will try to make ice cream on her own or do like you said and rope her sisters into doing it for her!

 

I'm really happy that Tsubaki was able to get her body upgrade. I hope to see more pics of her.

 

Actually, I also hope to see more of her after the upgrade too. I think a lot of the reason my sister didn't take her out often was due to the poor posability of the DDI body. Now that she has the DDII, I think she will take Tsubaki out more often and maybe even get some good pics of her.
