Lyrajean Posted April 21, 2019 I've been posting for about 2 weeks now as I just got my first DD. Got my first Smartdoll last year. I've been into resin bjd since roughly the beginning in 2004, but I've been a doll collector much longer than that. I have everything from Barbie to antique bisquehead dolls. So now I am all about learning about the vinyl. My DD is over in the arrival gallery; some of you have been kind enough to comment already. I got into these dolls mainly 'cause I like to do dressmaking. I don't buy much premade clothing, I make my own. I've been attending Dollfest at otakuthon in Montreal with friends for the past 2 years this will be my 3rd time. I've been to Dollism in buffalo a few years back and lived in Japan for 4 years where I went to many of the Volks stores and 2 Kyoto dolpas. Smart dolls interest me especially with the much anticipated cortex release. I am also interested in customized DD, DDS and the D-coord lines. Not so much the expensive limited anime character runs.
