Étoile ⭐️ OC

I keep waffling between what I’m gonna do with this body, at first it was an original character, then it was gonna be Gudako from Fate/Grand Order, and now back to oc! (Don’t worry though I’m gonna get a second body + head for Gudako!)

My concept was “a mysterious yet sweet girl in a seifuku, always dreaming of the stars”, and so I sketched up this design! I also decided on the name Étoile!

(Sorry for the sketchyness...)

I then bought my doll (a Parabox 40cm Ichigo), an outfit (from parabox), a wig (from legenddoll), and a pair of eyes (from etsy, which still haven’t come), and an eyepatch (from ebay)! The doll and outfit came a while ago, soon after I abandoned this concept, and but I recently got the wig and eyepatch so i thought I might as well try out the oc. 

(Please excuse the bad lighting and phone pics....) Here she is all dressed up! The eyepatch proved to be a bit of a problem though... her ears were much too small to give the elastic a steady grip..

But! I was determined to make it work! (everyone that knows me knows I have a deep love of eyepatched and one eyed characters...)

So I took an elastic hair tie and attached it to the eyepatch so it would be able to wrap around her whole head.

I don’t know if this is a “good” way to do it, but it works for now. Then after a lot of adjusting, I was able to get her wig on!

And so.... Étoile is here!

Sorry that got kinda long, but I’m so happy with her! Hopefully I will be updating this soon when her eyes come! ⭐️

Étoile is really adorable. (And her name is perfect! IIRC, it means "star", right?) I feel like she needs a tiny telescope.

Now THIS is cute. Wow. Good job MacGyvering that eye patch. With the wig on it looks fabulous. 
 

Do you have pictures from the back? Just curious what it looks like, since I really think it’s cool and you did a great job making that eyepatch work. 
 

Soon I’ll be posting my own OC—Jibril from No Game No Life drooling over books (and that tablet like in the beginning of the anime/light novels). Using a Dollce type A head.  I just got a DDS body/L shapely bust to go with it (but still the same time, I got a MDD body/L bust just in case the Dollce head doesn’t look good on the DDS; but I have another Dollce A head and a different idea for the MDD if the DDS works!)

Your post made me decide to do this too, since I made some drawings and took some notes about what to make/commission etc. Again, good job with the eyepatch. Really cute Étoile!
